After reading other reviews, I took a risk and ordered live pond fish! I'm very happy to say that they arrived perfectly packaged and well handled. The fish acclimated to their new environment immediately actively swimming with other fish in the pond and never went into hiding. Two weeks later now and they are still enjoying their new home and eating vigorously.

Beautiful fish..all very healthy AND ARRIVED IN OUR 100 degree OCTOBER WEATHER HERE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIIA .,but box was cold inside..( with ice pack) ..water was cold so that was a blessing..fish very lively..love this fish order ...also the water in our pond is cold now as night temps drop...soo all is well..theyre hiding quite a bit but just peeking out with my KOI AND HUNGRY TODAY !!

I was really kind of anxious about buying live fish online - I just couldn't get past the terrible images of the box being tossed around and dropped and stepped on, and then leaking water all over me as the carrier handed it off with a smile, a nod, and a cheerful "Have a good day!" while I stood there with 24 dead fish in a soggy cardboard box. Contrary to my paranoia, the box arrived dry and free of outward signs of abuse, and to my surprise, when I opened it, the fishies were not DOA! They looked a little oxygen deprived and disoriented (who wouldn't?), so I carefully dumped them into a bucket with an aerator while I waited for the water they were shipped in to warm up equivalent to that of their new home. Again, to my surprise, none of them croaked while in the bucket nor after they took up residence in their respective aquariums. I only had ONE that seemed to be suffering long-term effects of the journey, but he's still with us, 4 days later. When I received them, I assumed there were 24 in the shipment, and didn't bother to count them until a few days later - we actually received 31 fish, and they are ALL beautiful. Kudos to the folks at Toledo - they're great to work with, very responsive to questions and requests, and they provide healthy fish at a reasonable cost. Very happy with my purchase!

The tropical fish did arrive alive, as promised. We followed the directions carefully. Within the first two weeks, 5 of the 12 fish died. This is very disappointing. We would not do this again and would warn people against ordering from this company.

The fish arrived in good condition. They were lively and great looking fish. We followed the accompanied instructions and released them in our pond. They have been in the pond for two days and all of the fish seem to be doing well. We were so pleased that we decided to order some koi today.

Ordered 12 large, received 14. Five died within 24 hours. Rest doing great. Also ordered 50 small, only 1 died. Overall pleased with order and quality.
