Q: does it work only when the pimple is popped?

This product is designed for whiteheads, surfaced acne and other blemishes that have gunk in them to be extracted. We would suggest the microcrystal patch(ASIN:ASIN:B0995JX2G3) for any scarring and other types of blemishes.

Q: Which is better, these with hydrocolloid or the patches with salycilic acid? i see a huge difference in price, is there a difference ini results?

We purposely didn't use salicylic acid in these patches because it's an ingredient that can be really drying and irritating. Hydrocolloid and tea tree oil is super gentle and it draws out the bad stuff (i.e. pus) which helps pimples heal faster versus putting salicylic in, which ends up drying the skin.

Q: How often should you change the acne patches?

The patches should be left for 6 to 8 hours, then replace it with another one if necessary.
