Q: How am i supposed to trust your product(s) when all the images are photoshopped? you realize google image search exists, right?

What is your gripe with this being photoshopped onto a photo of a person? Many companies photoshop their wearable products onto people, not to mislead, but to give an idea of what it will look like on or in use. Old Navy, Avenue, and so many others do it as well with clothing. You will also find it done for several Amazon products for sale. Get off your soap box and stop trying to show off that you know authorities. This is an accepted advertising method and in no way illegal.

Q: Could these gloves stand a snapping turtle bite?

Common snapping turtles have a bite strength of 200 Newtons, or ~50 pounds of force, some can have upwards of 400 Newtons. Wild snapping turtles are around 35 pounds and these gloves should protect your fingers. They should also protect your fingers from 75-100+Lb, overfed, captive turtles. Supposedly its a myth that large snapping turtles remove fingers but I have no interest in testing it. Some animals have reached 200+ pounds in weight and will easily remove, or if you are wearing these gloves, probably crush the finger bones. Even if a finger isn't severed, the nerve damage is difficult to repair and may take years. Applying a 12 or 10 gauge slug to the snapping turtle before any attempt is made to handle it, is a lot safer.

Q: Is the hand portion also padded?

If by “padded” you mean “protected”, yes. These gloves work very well: we have a cat that turns feral if you try and put him in a carrier. Had we purchased these gloves sooner, we’d not have the scars we got from his teeth and claws! The gloves protect while allowing you to have decent hand manipulation.

Q: Do these gloves come in different sizes? My husband is an extra large in work glove, so I'm worried about these being too small.
