Q: Can you slice garlic too? I am wondering if it is as good for that as the single garlic slicer from the same brand

Not sure. You can grate the garlic but I haven’t tried slicing it with this. There is a straight slicing blade and you might be able to use that to slice garlic but it would be thicker than a regular garlic slicer.. no way to adjust

Q: Can you replace the blade on the slicer? Or remove it to sharpen it when it becomes dull?

It looks like the blade is riveted on the plastic holder. I don’t think you can replace it or sharpen it .

Dimensions may be smaller and there may be one less grating/slicing attachment, while looking at the smaller set. The photos to the right of the items kind of gives you a view of what's included. Also when you scroll down and compare product it gives you the dimensions. Either set should perform well. Whatever works for you. I hope this helps.
