This potting mix is perfect for Alocasia. It has great drainage but still holds enough moisture to keep the roots happy — exactly what these picky plants need. Since switching to this soil, I’ve noticed healthier leaves, better growth, and fewer issues with root rot. The mix feels high-quality, and my plants clearly love it. Highly recommend if you want to give your Alocasia the best chance to thrive. Mine even had baby plants!

Great product for my monstera collection and other plants such as philodendrons. Chucky soil keeps a great water and air environment for those plants.

Great chunky soil mix

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using Sol Soils for years and it’s easily my favorite soil brands. I use Succulent Gritty Mix for my cactus and succulents, and the Chunky Houseplant Mix for just about everything else. I haven't tried any other blends. True to the name, these mixes are chunky! They'll also level up a plant to supremely aesthetic status if you're into that. :) Very pretty mix of texture and colors.Highly recommend if you love a good chunky mix!

Your plants will thrive in this soil. It truly is the best I’ve ever tried. It is more expensive, but I figure if I invest in better quality soil for my plants, the longer I will be able to have them. I was also concerned that I would have to water my plants much more frequently due to it being such an airy soil, somehow I do not have to. The water retains in the soil enough where I am having the same amount of time between watering, if not longer. This is top quality soil. I have ordered multiple times off of their site as well. Have never seen any bugs/gnats and it never has a bad smell to it. 10/10 reccomend just wish it was a bit more affordable,

Great mix! Plants love it. It does occasionally dry out quickly, but I live in a very dry area(Utah). I’ve never lost a plant to root rot using this mix, because it doesn’t remain soggy and drains well
