Perfect save of the funny bone.
We have fight nights every Thursday at our Taekwondo school. We had all the gear needed, but the forearm and elbow pads were kinda used up and we needed a few more. So I bought 4 large and they came really fast. They fit someone who is between 5’5” tall and 6’. I’d need an XL if they were taller or a medium if shorter. The padding is about 1/4”-1/2” and they can block a punch or a kick really well without much discomfort to the arms or elbows. A big thank you to this 5 star seller. I saved them for any additional gear I may need.

What I Hoped It Would Be
I purchased this forearm guard because I am having a chronic problem with the ulnar nerve in my left arm, and I needed to shield my lower forearm (the underside) because any pressure aggravates the problem. I didn't want a thin, non-padded compression sleeve, and this is just what I hoped it would be. The pad is somewhat rigid (it is not soft foam like a mattress topper), but it gives enough and protects well. My arm does heat up a bit, but that actually seems to soothe my nerve, so a win-win. I haven't washed it yet, and I hope it holds up. Without washing I imagine it would get pretty gamey relatively quickly (especially if you are using this for sports). I can't speak to other uses, but if you have ulnar impairment or entrapment, you might want to give it a try. I am going to add an elbow pad that fits with this but I haven't searched for the right one yet. I am not a big reviewer but I wanted to help anyone who might suffer from an ulnar nerve issue. Wouldn't wish it on anyone. I am a guitarist and it is really dispiriting becaue it affects two fingers. OK--good luck.

Great padding
I use these for martial arts, specifically sparring with bamboo slat swords. The padding is excellent - no discomfort even when taking a direct hit to the forearm. I would give them 5 stars but the fit is a little off, and there's no reinforcement at the ends so the material will eventually fray.

Night armor
I sleep with my head on my forearms everyday and was worried about my muscles not fully healing after torturing my forearms all day at work everyday, so I bought these to dissipate or rather not concentrate the weight of my head onto one spot on my forearm and honestly after weeks of sleeping with these on my arms as my pillow I think my forearm are really healing better and I wish someone would invent a pair of these for this particular purpose so I could have a little more comfort with my new found peace of mind, plus I don’t know if sleeping with my head on my arm could ever lead to blood clotting but I think the stress this arm armor relieves from my forearms because it’s not getting the weight of my head in one spot anymore keeps the blood circulating better, anyway like if you find this review useful

Perfect for punching bag trainning and forearm impact!
I purchased these to protect my forearms from impact from punching bag training and have found these to be impressive! they protect my forearms from any strike or impact on the outside. Keep in mind that there is no padding on the inside of your arm but who needs it on the inside when your swinging your arms out knocking anything down in your path like the Juggernaut! :) Also for the ultimate protection I've also put on some hard knuckle tactical gloves to add a fist of pain to my strikes!

Impractical
Way too bulky, not enough support at either the wrist or the elbow.

Absolutely amazing
I highly recommend these! They were extremely comfortable and very durable. I was scared theyd be loose on my forearms cause I have pretty skinny forearms but they fit perfectly and made my forearms look bulkier!

soft and thick
IMHO they run large. The pad goes to and covers the elbow. Maybe a size smaller would have been better since I just wanted forearm pad. Thick and soft. I have nerve damage and need a pad to fit under my long sleeve shirt. This is a little too thick for that but for it’s designed purposes I’m certain it’s great.
