Bought for wound treatment that required sterile applicator. Worked well and a fraction of the cost of the plastic versions.

There's sturdy and of the appropriate length as advertised come in sterile packaging I just give it four stars because I feel like all Q-tips in this category should come with measuring devices on the packaging. I use this for my wound care patients.
