Fire bags are good size to fold documents and place in standard safe. Nice zipper and Velcro to seal documents. They have good fire rating. Quality is good and waterproof. Great for storing documents and have proper protection from fires.

A nice little bag, but I doubt it'd be fire or water proof for very long as the zipper has a small opening when closed as all zippers do. Also the extra top flap is secured by Velcro which I would expect to melt in a fire. It will offer a little fire/heat protection. It'd be great inside a safe for a extra protection. That being said it looks okay for the cheap price, you get what you pay for and this is not at all expensive.

After seeing the safe in the California wildfires melted i needed more fire protection,i will buy more in the future

In light of all the fires and natural disasters happening all over the US, I decided to get a few of these fireproof document bags. I keep them inside my fireproof safe - giving myself double fireproofing. The bag holds a good amount of documents, jewelry and cash. It not only zips, but it also has a Velcro closure. I hope I will never have to put them to the test, but I at least feel prepared. I can also just open my safe and grab and go if that scenario ever arises.

Not too easy to rate unless you throw it in a fire, or your house burns down. It looks pretty tough and sturdy, and it seals good. In saying that, I hope I never have to use it for it's purpose.

I ordered the wrong size. Thought this was for documents. But that's my fault.Seems to be a sturdy, well made bag. I do question the zipper and velcro elements as far as fire or water goes, but it's more protection than just an office file envelope.
