Yes I used one on my 2 daughters hair and it works great. There is a drawstring to tighten it around at the base.

How is 1b jet black? isn't 1b supposed to be off black and 1 is supposed to be jet black? why is off black listed as #2? #2 is dark brown

I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't have anything to secure it. I recommend get one with comb and drawstring.
