I am pleasantly surprised with this purchase. My new white 36" IKTCH arrived in record time and in perfect condition. Although we are in the process of installing it, I can already tell you that when we tested it upon arrival, we were very satisfied with its performance (suction power and noise level).The aesthetics are incredible, as it allows us to design something outside of the traditional at a more than reasonable cost (I will update this comment with the final photos when it is finished).I had difficulties with the installation (which culminated in damage to the unit), but their customer service helped me resolve the problem 100%. It is rare that one encounters customer service that is so efficient and committed to its customers! After the error we made during the installation, I recommend that if you have any questions, contact them before taking action... they are available and clearly committed to supporting their customers.Highly recommended product!

Purchased my iKTCH Range Hood Insert and the fit and finish is simply excellent and looks stunning. I am having a custom range hood enclosure fabricated and when I reached out to IKTCH that I had an idea of a custom install, but wanted the user interface to be mounted into my custom range hood enclosure they sent me an extra electronic user interface and I simply unplugged from the electric user interface mounted on the bottom of the IKTCH Range Hood Insert and plugged into the unit they sent me and I built into my range hood enclosure and works perfectly. Still not done, as waiting on custom glass that will go on the top of the range hood, but wanted to share my progress of my custom range hood install. I had professionals install this for me and it looks great. I like the 4 speeds and a little loud, but no more that what we had before. The only down side to this is the gesture feature does not always work. When we plugged it in it worked for the first few times and it does not always work. Since it appears to work at random, I am guess this is just a bit of a bug. However, we do not really use it anyway and mostly use the remote. You have to be pretty close, but I love not having to touch any buttons. Overall, I really like that it is flush and does not stick out from the cabinet at all.

Update: I've had the fan for about three months. I finally got the hang of the gesture controls:-wave left to right for light on and fan speed 1 OR wave right to left for fan speed 4 and no light.They do work most of the time and I have actually enjoyed this feature more than I thought. The fan still blows wonderfully. Overall, a very happy buyer.---I had the same issue as another reviewer regarding the blower mounts missing screws. The screws, washers, and nuts were rattling in the unit when I took it out of the box, and I assumed someone just dropped them during assembly. It wasn't until the following day when the blower sounded awful (hitting it several times didn't help) that I realized those screws went to the mount. It seems someone at their factory is forgetting to torque all the screws upon completion.Despite this, the fan is very powerful and works great. Installation was straightforward and the manual helped. Once the motor is PROPERLY mounted, it is also very quiet even on High (speed 4). The gesture control doesn't work consistently for me and I will not be using it. The inclusion of a remote is quite odd to me, and the button functions are not inherently obvious, but I suppose it is preferable for some people. For the price and overall aesthetics, I am fairly happy now that it's installed.

Hood is great. Good looking, effective flow rate, as quiet as you can expect. Satisfied. Remote could be a little more simple.

Installation went well by a professional. I thought the fan at speed 1 was still kind of loud. Using a decibel meter app on iPhone 15, it clocked at 65-66db right in front the fan at my ear level.The motion sensor works… but you need to be REAL close and VERY quick with your movement. That’s annoying but not sure how often I’ll be using the feature.Love the modern and minimalistic design.UPDATE:I contacted iKtch to receive support for the issues I observed and they were very helpful. I received a replacement unit and it had none of the issue observed: quieter noise level and very sensitive gesture sensors.I rate this company extremely high for the kind of customer support it provided. 5 stars!!

I wanted to like this product. It looks nice but that’s where it ends. It does not suck air like it’s supposed to. My house wasn’t filled with smoke from frying. I had the vent on the entire time. It’s also very loud. I wish the lights were brighter. The motion sensor only works occasionally. I do not recommend.

I’m very happy with this stove vent. Mine is installed into the ceiling, and dose a fine job of removing smoke. It’s modern aesthetic is beautiful and its construction is well built quality. I’ve not used the hand gestures, so unable to comment.
