Makes drive-thru payments so much easier!
This thing is great! It organized all my loose change that would sit in a paper cup in a spare cup holder and made it so much easier to make change when going through a drive thru. No more digging around for an extra penny or something--I feel like a pro counting out exact change! Yes, I realize that sounds ridiculous, but being able to just count out the change, rather than dig around in a cup and have to recount several times because I've dropped a coin or can't find the one I'm looking for, is so gratifying. And it holds a fair amount as well--I didn't keep track when I filled it up, but others have and have listed the totals, so the info exists. The springs are a bit finicky when the coins start running low, so that is a bit annoying, but I have long enough nails to drag a coin out when it gets stubborn, so it hasn't been too bad so far. I would definitely try and keep it filled as full as possible at all times. You'll know when you can't fill it anymore when you can't push the column of coins down anymore. It does pennies, dimes, nickles, and quarters...then penny and dime spots are very similar in size, to the point where they're very close to being interchangeable. For those that care, there's a warning on the packaging about it containing cancer causing chemicals. I looked it up and while I no longer remember what it was, it was something that's basically in most plastic we come into contact with already. So if you don't want to risk it, just avoid plastic altogether. I thought about returning it, but decided not to because it was pretty awesome to have and with the amount of plastic I touch on a daily basis, it's already too late to be worried about it. Don't lick it, don't gnaw on it, don't expose it to high heat or long hours in the sun and then lick or munch on it, and you'll probably be fine--wash your hands after touching it if it's that worrisome. You should be washing your hands a bunch anyway--people are filthy and so is money.

It 'Changed' My Auto Life
This change organizer is awesome. I previously stored coins in my car in a cylinder container and had to sort through all of my stash to select coins I wanted to use. This coin organizer holds a lot of coins and gives you easy access to them instantly. It fits my Bimmer's console perfectly and it looks good too. This is one of the best auto accessories I've bought for my car and I highly recommend it if you keep loose change in your vehicle.

One of the best but could be better
I bought two of these to go in my car and put to use several jars of coins that I accumulated over the last several years. While this holder is the best product that I tried there are several annoyances that prevent this from being a perfect solution.PROS:- Saves money. You break bills less and use what you do break more efficiently.- Holds all 4 coin types. There are many holders that do not have a place for pennies. Why?!?!- Has a small "footprint". It fits in a cup holder or other small compartment in your vehicle.- Good design allows you to rotate the holder in one hand and flip out the desired coin with the other. The linear holders that drop coins out of the base tend to flick coins into your lap or force you to cup one hand under the holder to catch coins making operation cumbersome.- Quiet. Holders that rely on gravity to keep the coins in their cylinders make a lot of noise when they are stowed in your vehicle and you are driving over poor road surfaces full of potholes, etc.- Inexpensive compared to some fancy holders that exhibit the above problems this holder solves.CONS:- Coins are at times difficult to remove from their respective cylinders. This is the case mostly for pennies and dimes. When they stick the force you apply to slide out a coin pushes the coin down, not out. They could have added a hole in the center of the cap that leaves the inside edge of the top coins exposed - if one gets stuck you can put your finger in the center and extract it easily.- Capacity. Yes it holds about $10-$12 of coins which is not bad, but the holder is quite short and could have been another 50% taller to hold more coins and still not be too tall.- No way to tell if you are getting low on a particular type of coin. I've been caught in a drive-thru a few times counting out, say, 34 cents only to run out of pennies at 32 cents. I actually corrected this by drilling a porthole on the side of each coin cylinder so I can see when I'm getting low and I need to go hit the jar of coins on the nightstand again.Ok, ok, so its just a coin holder. If you get this one you won't go wrong. If you have access to a drill press you can make it a five-star product. ;)

Smash N' Grab
Great coin holder. Fits in a cup holder if you want to burn the space, but I would always keep it in the center flow-through console since I don't have to access dead-pres metal too often. Holds a bunch of coins. The only downside would be that I've felt too inclined on many occasions to so-easily hand out all my coins to less fortunate folks pan-handling which has resulted in me never having change for the occasional parking meter. I suppose it doesn't matter since most meters take credit cards now. Great overall and its weight in your palm is definitely worthy of a self-defense article if you ever needed to cash out for safety. Seriously, when this thing is full; HEAVY.
