Power demanding, but BRIGHT!!!!!
Oh wow!!! If you can supply the power, these things are BRIGHT! in a project, they are hard to see the gap between the LEDs.... Wait... They are so close there may not be a gap at all... My Pop wanted shorter LED Whips for his ATV for a trip, so I got these and some others to make him some... I chose these!!!! He wanted only two-foot whips! Image is only half power. In use photo and abuse review to come.

Bright
Very bright. Easy. Wires on both ends, so if you’re not using the whole length, you get two strips. You can also easily strip the water proofing and it has tape on it if that’s what you need

DO NOT BUY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!
The promise that these LED's put 26,000 lumens per 5 mter is false advertisement. You will get barely 6,000 lumens. My problem is that i have now 3 times 6 meters installed on aluminum profile and taking these LED's out will damage my aluminum profile and more than likely the LED strips. Not to mention the time it took to install everything.I can support all of this with the following measurements and from the actual data sheet of the LED.1 Length 5 meter LED's uses only 5.5Amp at 12VDC, this is 75W and is about 6000 lumens. The data sheet says that each LED uses at the low end 0.06A there are 3 LED's in series the current will stay the same so 1 strip has 1200 led's div this by 3 = 400 x 0.06 = 24Amps!! so if the strips were designed correctly then you would get 26,000 lumen.I know lot of mubojumbo but it is correct. As a side note this also explanes why the strips get so hot and fail prematurely, the series resistor is the issue it is much larger than it needs to be but the power it can handle is very low, this will develop a lot of heat.

Silicone seals the deal
Lights are bright and close together, giving the appearance of a solid line of lights. Adhesive strip was marginal on clean fiberglass body. Used silicone to firm up adhesive tape

IMPORTANT, POWER ON THE "CUT" LINE
The listing says you can cut "every 3 LED's". You can but you probably shouldn't. Cut (and power) on the "CUT LINE" for peace of mind. In my case, i spent over an hour trying to figure out why the LED strip wouldn't light up. Well, turns out where i soldered the wire in the picture isn't proper. I tested powering it on the "cut line" with aligator clips, and sure enough, the whole strip lit up, even the 3 at the end next to my wires. Otherwise everything works great, accurate 5600 daylight blue, and seems pretty bright.

Use a heatsink!
The media could not be loaded. I have gone through many different types of LED strips and even to hand soldering my own strips for different applications. Almost every high density strip that I've come across it's either outrageously expensive or just do not meet my expectations due to the style chip used on the strip. These strips are very bright (not the over exagerated 26000 lumens bright) and are very uniform. I run these on a 12v 5 amp power supply and also ran these fused in a vehicle. I've also used them when rebuilding headlights as the DRL strips. Keep in mind with how close together these LEDs are you must use a heatsink to dissipate the heat or you must power these with a lower voltage/current to not have them so hott. If you don't, you will burn singles or groups out and this is where most complaints come from. I have ran these for at least a year with minimum 5 hours use a day without any single LED failing.

Amazing light output and construction
These have a nice clean white color output as well as a very well made waterproof casing to protect it from the elements. I bought them to use for some ambient lighting inside the cabin area of my boat and for my tent to use on a switch. Have only just begun to use them but so far they are very bright and haven't had a single issue.
