Q: How much is needed in each prep of a batch of butter icing

As a rule for each batch I make consisting of 500 grams butter and 1kg of icing sugar I would average 20-25mls until I get the shade required. As long as you beat your butter until almost white you will need less of this to get the required shade

I've used it several times to whiten the white chocolate
