I've never put anything liquid in them, but I've never had a problem with anything else. They're really terrific, except I wish I had gotten the unpainted ones. They are worthless once the lids start chipping. A real mess.

Q: Are these really 6 1/4 x 4 1/2 ??? All the other models (& this model on the lunchbots website) are 6 x 5. Hoping 4 interchangeable lids!

The container opening is about 6 1/4" by 4 6/8". I just measured mine. The lids on this fit all of my lunchbots sandwich size containers but the other lids don't fit this one and my newer ones. There is a little lip on the newer model which prevents the older lids from fitting the newer ones. Hope that helps.

My child was able to do it at 3, but still likes to have help sometimes. The teachers do help at our school also, but they don't mention that they help him often.

No, I'd say you can't. It's fairly shallow so I can fit only one half into one side. Unless it's a particularly thin sandwich! I can do two halves of an open face sandwich stacked. I'll often put half a thick sandwich on one side, and fruit on the other. I hope that helps!

genau richtig für Krippe und Kindergarten

Ich habe vor ca. 2 Monaten die kleinen Lunch Bots Duo und Trio gekauft. Wir nutzen sie für die Brotzeit unserer Krippenkinder (1 und 2 Jahre alt). Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität und die Größe passt für unsere Zwecke optimal. Wir stecken die Boxen täglich in die Spülmaschine und sie kommen einwandfrei wieder raus. Die Deckel halten gut. Die Einjährige braucht Hilfe beim Öffnen, die Zweijährige schafft es selbst. Wie in der Beschreibung steht, sind die Dosen nicht auslaufsicher. Aber mit Obst hatten wir noch nie Probleme und Flüssiges tun wir nicht rein.Bin sehr zufrieden und bestelle mir jetzt noch eine Big Trio für meine eigene Brotzeit in der Arbeit. Der Preis hatte mich zuerst abgeschreckt, aber da ich jetzt die Qualität kenne, investiere ich das Geld gerne um meine Brotzeit langfristig umweltfreundlich und nachhaltig verpacken zu können.
