How long does the jewelry's battery last? Can it be changed out, or charged up?

We did not want to burden users with another accessory they'd have to remember to charge, so we designed the system so that the charm can be easily replaced. The battery is designed to last 1 year or more depending on usage. When the battery is low, the companion app will notify you that it's time to replace your charm. Why should this keychain be more expensive than something that can be recharged?

Hi Larry, Most safety products require subscriptions that are $30 or more a month, however with invisaWear we don't charge any monthly fees or subscriptions. When we were initially designing invisaWear, the majority of people told our team that they have enough devices to charge and the last thing they want is for their safety device to be out of battery during an emergency because they forgot to charge it. That's why the invisaWear charm was designed to be non-rechargeable. Because the charm is very small and has a really compact design, the battery cannot be safely replaced without replacing the entire charm. The battery typically lasts one year but may last up to two years depending on usage. A replacement charm retails for $65 (almost like $5/month for your personal safety in comparison to typical safety devices which charge much higher). Does it work if over seas?

Thanks a lot for contacting us, we hope you're having a great day. The invisaWear device does work internationally. If you are outside of the United States, the invisaWear would be able to send text message alerts to your emergency contacts informing them that you are in an emergency situation. Please note that your phone must be connected to cellular data or WiFi in order for the invisaWear to send out alerts and that contact 9-1-1 is only available in the United States. Please note, invisaWear uses your phone's cellular data or WiFi to send the alert. This can be helpful for situations where cell service is not available to make a phone call. Unfortunately if there is no data or WiFi available then the app will notify you that it was unable to send an alert and instruct you to call 911.

Hello, We hope you're having a wonderful day! To remove an emergency contact, please go to the App Menu -> Settings -> Emergency Contacts, and then swipe left on the contact you wish to remove. Next, press the red button that says “Delete”. To add another contact, please tap the add button on the top right corner of the emergency contacts page.
