After finding that the plastic insulation spacers at the big box stores are flimsy and will collapse to easily I decided to try these for my 16 “ on center roof trusses. They are plenty strong and allow great versatility in odd shaped areas. I installed them with ss lathe screws which worked very well. As someone who tends to overbuild they even pleased me LOL.

I have been searching a long time for baffle inserts to place in my roof baffles. This product is superior to any baffle product out there that you can get. Thank you so much for making a great product.

Easy to use

Used these to update soffit ventilation when getting a new roof. They worked perfectly. They are more rigid than the Home store version. They solve the problem of insulation crushing them and choking air flow. The rigid design allows for fitting in between rafters and joists design—instead of trusses.

Very sturdy and easy to cut. You can’t use baffles from the big box stores and cut them to fit or hope they won’t collapse. I purchased two different kinds and they’re useless. The distance between our rafters were between 5” to the standard 16” on center. Unfortunately most weren’t. After cutting and scoring, they are still sturdy and won’t collapse with the insulation. We under estimated how many we needed (twice) so this is my third order. Cant say enough about this product. I won’t be worrying my attic is getting ventilation. Worth the extra expense.

These are made out of double wall corrugated plastic. My only concern is that being only 3' long I will need 216 for my attic. The boxes are 36 pieces each. These leave a substantial channel, but the flip side of that is that they also reduce the amount of insulation you can use. With the other baffles I have used I only lose about 1" of insulation. I also wonder if these will be pressed in in the middle by the insulation if it is too tight. The others all have central support, but they also aren't as strong as these, not by a long way. But these are the best I can get on Amazon right now.These don't deal with sealing the eaves. Another brand I use has end pieces which fold around to seal the bottom end. I could do that with these but I'd lose a lot of length too. Then I'd need another box to make the ends. The jury is out on that one until I try cutting them to bend.All in all though, a very high quality option.
