Q: Hi, i wanna purchase this item, i have confusion with the following: which other things i need to use it? grohe 29142000 grohtherm smart thermostatic?

You can use any type of valve really, the thermostatic valves just control water temperature. I use mine with a U by Moen valve and controller this let me control 4 different types in the showerI had the rain shower, along with a handheld, regular shower head and 3 body jets. The Controller gives you total control of temperature and even has an app to start the shower with your phone so the water is warm before you get in. If ther are multiple users of the shower they can even have their own temperature settings.

Q: Can the flow limiter be removed?
