3 boxes arrived cracked and all boxes were majorly scratched in at least 2 corners. I waited a long time for these to be delivered… to only have to fully return them… wasn’t even offered a replacement

I always appreciate accurate personal use reviews to help me make decisions on purchases on-line so decided to write one on this product. I used this item recently where I was part of a function on a western wildfire that had to store documents we generated. I appreciated its ease of use and functionality and is sturdy. I liked it so much so that when I returned home from the fire I bought two of these boxes and new hanging folders; one for my monthly/yearly financial records and another one to use the same for a non-profit I volunteer for as the Treasurer to replace a smaller hanging file box I had been using for years. If you don't have a lot of items to keep tract of, a smaller lessor cost box would probably serve you well. For me the more generous size this box provides more easy functionally for finding and storing records.

Very easy to use. It's already assembled and has a lot of space for files. The width is appropriate for letter-sized filed. I think you would need a different bin to store legal-size or A4 files.I'm using it to store archived tax paperwork from previous years. The lid is convenient. I can stack other boxes on it. It's about 13 inches high. I need to raise my shelves an inch or two to fit it underneath, but I have adjustable shelves so that's not an issue.It arrived in a LARGE box, but it was light and easy to carry. The bin arrived in good condition. I would buy it again if I needed more space.

This is a perfect sized hanging file storage box to hold documents and paperwork. It's great for older tax returns, bank statements, etc. that you need to save but don't necessarily need to be available for every day. The documents stay clean and dry and the box can be tucked away for safekeeping.

This thing is amazing. It's over priced, the plastic bin is a bit flimsy and breaks easily, but the concept is ingenious. It works very well. If you are careful with it and don't break it, it should last many years. I give it 4 stars. If the bin was more durable I'd give it five stars and not complain about the price.

I was looking for a sturdy file box container that was two feet long, the length of a traditional file cabinet, so that I could transfer some files that used to be handing in a file cabinet drawer into a separate box. This box, at 21.5" was the best I could find; I'll simply have to weed out a few files. What I like about it, in addition to its length, is the sturdiness of the plastic (much better than cardboard files I've seen) and the lid that closes over the top of the box, protecting the contents. Finally, the design for holding the metal rails is clever-the rails fit right into slots in the box, so I don't have to use separate rail holders for the handing files. I am very pleased with this storage box.

I bought several of these filing boxes years ago. They hold more weight than other similar boxes we've tried. They stack atop each other (I only stack two high) and have good handles. The first ones have held up so well that I recently bought two more. Inside are steel bars for hanging files. Be aware that the manufacturer makes an identical box without steel bars and both are listed online as KeepBox. The steel bars are needed to hang files. If you have files you need to access and can't afford or don't need filing cabinets, these are easy to get in and out of. File access is as convenient as accessing hanging files in a hanging file drawer. For maximum convenience, when opening them, you need enough space to allow the lids to drop to the sides and out of the way, but I have stacked them side-to-side in a closet and gone into a box with no space for the lids to drop and that worked fine.
