Q: Can I use this on a 100% polyester leotard? There is an embroidery design on my daughter's ballet leotard and it's driving her skin nuts.

The description clearly states THAT IT ADHERES TO ONLY100% cotton, 100%polyester and cotton poly blends. So I’m here 8 months to late to tell you, yes. You can.

Q: Does this protect embroidery stitches from coming loose by covering them?

Yes, this would protect the back side of the stitches. It's main purpose, I believe, is to cover them so that when wearing the garment there is no irritation from the design.

Q: Would this be good for a baby onesie?

Yes. It’s vey soft and would work really well for baby clothes that are rough on the inside.

Q: Would this product work on a 100 % cotton Dad/Ball cap where the back of the embroidery is very rough and is hurting my sons forehead?

If it’s running against his head, then yes. If it is pushing into his head, I would add a thing layer of fleece between embroidery backing and tender touch. I would use fusible fleece and spot to inside of cap. Then cut the tender touch slightly larger so it would be fused to the cap all the way around the fleece. Remember to round all corners on both fleece and tender touch.
