MSM Moisture Creme, 4 OZ

2019 Update: I am still using this product and am 46. I find it to be such a great facial moisturizer even as my skin changes with the wonderful experience that is aging! I use it all year round. We do have milder weather where I live so I can't speak to more extreme conditions; however, I would recommend highly if you do not love your moisturizer now. I use on face, neck and upper chest. I've never had any issues with the product arriving opened or damaged.Also, I offer a general note on any skin care product even if this one is not for you (no I received nothing for my review, I just get annoyed by companies praying on people's weaknesses). There is a lot of marketing of facial products basically lying to consumers. Beware of any product that says it penetrates deep into the skin. Any product penetrating the upper demis of the skin must be clinically tested using double blind, placebo controlled clinical studies and data submitted/reviewed by the FDA. Why? Because your skin is an organ. That's why products like Retin-A, Botox etc have all been clinically tested (they penetrate the upper dermis) and these products require a prescription, monitoring of use by medically trained staff. They are all regulated and adverse events are monitored and reported annually to FDA. I wish you luck finding a product that works for you.Original Review:I have used this on my face for many years and when Whole Foods and Henry's stopped carrying it, I tried several other "recommended" creams that cost more over a period of 6 months before I started hunting the product down on-line. Honestly, all other products come up short.At nearly 40, I still get the occasional breakout and find that this is the right combination of moisture, but not greasy. It absorbs nicely, is pleasant to use and I never have had any complaints other than it is not stocked more places. I now buy it for my older sister who is a convert.It gives my skin what I need in the summer and winter months. I get compliments on my skin often. It may be too much to say it is 100% because of this product, but I can say with certainty it ensures my skin is in the best condition so whatever may be going on with aging/hormones/weather etc, I know it is helping my skin look its best.And it is made in USA which is an added bonus.

This is my favorite moisturizer, and I've been using it for 6+ years with no issues. It absorbs quickly, and is so moisturising while not being heavy. It layers well under makeup and sunscreen, and it's a HUGE container for the price. I switched to another more expensive moisturizer for a year and recently switched back and I'm so much happier with my skin using this cream. I use differin-adapalene gel a couple nights a week and haven't had any bad interaction with this moisturizer when I layer it over the differin-adapalene gel. It also doesn't taste bad if you get it on your lips accidentally. The scent is a very subtle rose scent that dissipates almost immediately. I've used it happily year round in Austin, Seattle, and the bay area of California.

I first tried this in 2018 when I was taking methotrexate for my lupus. Which destroyed my skin. My checks where bright red and face was very dry. This cream was a miracle. After only 2 months of use all my redness went away and my skin looked even better than normal. Fast forward I find myself in the exact same situation right now. I remembered what a miracle this cream was for me before so I order this again and within a week my redness is going away and its healing my skin. I have extremely dry skin due to all my medications for my autoimmune diseases. I love all the natural ingredients which was very important to me. This is the best face cream I have found for redness, swelling etc.

Fantastic moisturizer. I am very focused on the health and beauty of my skin and mostly have used luxury brands for the last 20 years. What a wonderful surprise that this inexpensive moisturizer out-performs all I have tried before. My skin loved it after the very first use and six months later it still does. I have normal skin with very slight oiliness in T-zone by the end of day. My lips are prone to dryness. Sometimes my cheeks can get a little rough. This moisturizer helps to hold the perfect amount of moisture in all areas of the face, from cheeks, to nose to lips. Smells nice too. Has resulted in me eliminating an extra serum from my skincare routine that I don't need after using this moisturizer. Will continue to purchase!

I would recommend this crème for normal and combo skin, it goes on smoothly and smells fresh. I found it not rich enough for my skin. When I was younger I had a combination skin, not until my 40's did I really need to use a moisturizer every day. I am now over 70 and need a richer moisturizer for sensitive tight (dry) skin. I hope this helps anyone wanting to try this MSM Crème. It is a good product, well worth the cost and if, like me, you find it not rich enough, it does make a great cleansing crème.

I was introduced to this product by the owner of a health food store in Ohio. It is inexpensive and has healthy ingredients. It has no perfumes dyes and I use it morning and night. There is not heavy greasy feel and it does not contain dangerous SPF ingredients. I have been using it for several years and had trouble finding this product on Amazon recently. I hope it is not being discontinued.

I’ve used this moisturizer for many years. When I try other moisturizers, I don't get the same results as with this moisturizer. I have oily skin. When I wash my face, it would get dry. Other moisturizers would leave my skin dry and flakey. This moisturizer just works well with my oily skin and doesn't cause me any skin issues while using it. My skin always looks dewy when I am consistent in using it. One jar lasts a long time. Great price and value.

I love and have used this product for several years, but the packaging was horrible. Shipped in an unpadded manila envelope. It arrived with one cracked container that had seeped into envelope. The least they could have done is used bubble wrap or a padded envelope.
