Not easy to find an excellent bra in 38G but this is it
Pros:Have worn this style before. Have had several of these for a couple of years. Well beyond the lifespan of a normal bra.Great quality. Well made.Underwires are comfortable and supportive. Don't pop out like other brands I've worn. And don't dig in.Shoulder straps are very slightly stretchy but give great support and they are comfortable.I like that the closure has only 3 hooks. I am 38G and this is hard to find. Most bras in larger sizes have 4 hooks and the band is wide. This bra sacrifices nothing in support because the band is narrower. The entire bra is supportive everywhere I need it to be.The space between the cups at the front of the bra is reinforced. It hasn't shredded like on other bras I've had.Very little flab pushed out over the sides and I have flab to push!Cons - well not really but special care required:NEVER put it in washing machine, not delicate, nothing.Put in sink with cool/cold water to soak with baby shampoo. Let soak. Don't scrub, just sit. The bra fitter I originally saw said leave overnight. Having no patience for these things 4 or 6 hours seems fine.Probably was told to dry flat but having little space hung them over a hanger to drip dry. They have held up fine.Hook the backs and lie flat in a drawer, not folding cups into one another. If you like the bra and the fit invest in several or change off with other bras. If the bra is worn day after day you ruin it. I don't know why but that is how it is.I ordered this 38G to size up from the 36G I was fitted for awhile back. I put on some weight and my bras were due for replacing so tried the 38G and love it. (I am 5'8" 160 lbs. and a woman of a certain age. We are dealing with support requirements here!)There is the price. I sometimes joke that my bra is the most expensive thing I am wearing but investing in this is well worth it. I will be ordering more.Just one other thing about this style. I have found the black bras to be ever so slightly roomier than the beige ones. Don't know if this was just a fluke but thought I'd mention it.Care for them well and they are well worth the money.

Almost... but still a bit itchy
I ordered a bunch of bras (simone Perele and Chantelle) in a quest for a comfy yet supportive bra in 38F. If i hadn't tried the Chantelle Norah Chic i might have tried this one. It was almost good, but still slighly itchy due to the stiffer material. It is however very well made and probably longer lasting quality, but I know myself and if a bra is slightly uncomfortable at try on, I know i won't be able to wear it for more than 2 hours. It might be a fantastic bra if you don't have very sensitive skin. Support and quality seems great. it does make your boobs go a bit more to the side as a previous reviewer mentioned. It didn't really bother me, but it did make it harder to wear with button up shirts that are more fitted, so that's something you'd need to decide for yourself.

Always Simone Perele
I discovered this brand from a fancy lingerie store in Manhattan while on a business trip to NYC. Now I am chubbier. This Parisian bra hides my fat beautifully. It is worth the price, and their sexier bras will be ideal too when I lose weight again. Look closely at the measurement chart because it is important to find your correct fit. Worth the price.

Uncomfortable material, scratchy
Very uncomfortable bra. I don't know what they are making these from, but they are scratchy.

Best minimizer bra I have ever tried.
When it comes to bras, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your Prince. I'm only a 34D, but add some padding and my chest enters the room before the rest of me. I've tried (seriously) at least 30 bras, all styles, sizes, prices, wired, not wired, full, minimizer...you name it. This is the first minimizer bra that (1) did not flatten me out (2) or leave me looking saggy. This lifted my breasts where they need to be and gave them a sort of cone (not pointy, just not flat) rather than flatter, rounder shape. Looks so good under clothes. The sides are high enough without being overkill, the straps are nice and wide, but not too much, and I like that it has 2 rather than 3 hooks. The lace is pretty but subtle. Not sure how this would work for larger breasts, but for me, I have found my Prince Charming!

rrived very quickly relatively, excellent service
Arrived very quickly relatively, excellent service, the disadvantage of the individual color between the parts of the fabric is not uniform but definitely tolerable. Thanks.

Also an A for straps that stretch some but once adjusted well should aid nice uplift. (Too stretchy straps just defeat the aim ...
I've lots of experience with minimizers: Le Mystere, Wacoal, Chantelle, Lilyette, N Natori, Bali and more. This bra runs large in cup and band. Cup puckers and band in tightest hooks is not too tight. Most often wear 34DD but will reorder in 32D. For now I will give an A+ for the fabric of the cups. It is very substantial and gives the kind of firmness that makes the most of a minimizer. Also an A for straps that stretch some but once adjusted well should aid nice uplift. (Too stretchy straps just defeat the aim of the best fitting minimizer in my view.)
