I have been using Champion C9 running shorts for years, with there demise at Target and some quality issues on some other factory direct purchases I went looking for a new brand. I refuse to pay Nike, Reebok, or ASICS nearly 50.00 for a single pair of running shorts! These EZRUN shorts are awesome for the money. Solid fit, nice stitch and material quality, and 3 pockets for all your stuff! The micro-perforated liner is super quality, comfortable and fast drying. The only complaint I have of the short are the packets. There are only stitched to the liner at the top, so anything in the pocket with weight swings like a pendulum with your stride. I am a fitness walker and do not like camelbacks for a short 4-5 mile walk. An 8 ounce plastic flask when full swings around terribly! A couple of lower stitches connecting the pocket to the liner and voila the pendulum action is reduced substantially! Other than this, great product at a third the price of the major brands .

I debated between 3 and 4 stars. I went with 4 because of the low cost for what you get. My biggest complaint is the cut of the short. I'm a pretty standard sized guy (5'9" 165lbs) and almost always wear a medium in shorts, which is what I bought. The waist and length of these is what I'd expect but there is too much material in the FUPA area. I use these for both running and working out at the gym. They're fine for running, but at the gym I find the material bunching/gathering in front to be annoying and doesn't look great. I'm keeping them since they are so reasonably priced, but I'll probably look to buy more a more expensive pair with a better cut. Other features are as described, the zippered pocket in the back works and I like the brief liner in these vs the boxer brief liner many other styles use.

I am a more than just an enthusiastic badminton player. I have purchased variety of shorts in my 20+ years of badminton time. I have never got as comfortable shorts than this one. Material is light and extremely stretchable. After 8-10 washes also it has not gone any bad. It doesn't smell after getting sweaty unlike many other shorts. Its waist band is strong and wide to avoid marks on body and still strongly holds that you are not worried of it moving down while sitting or bending down. It has inseam which is tight but never scratches on groin as it is soft and perfectly designed. I loved that. Unlike other american shorts, this short has 2 side pockets and that's perfect. I hate any short more than 5" inseam. Especially american usable of shorts which goes down to knees and appears really messy, I hate those. This 5" one is perfect for my choice and needs. 2 BAD POINTS : 1. It is not coming in variety of colors like white, light ash, Electric Blue, Red, brown etc. 2. it is little too open on hips, may be. Should be 15-20% narrower. 3. May be, 1 of those 2 pockets will be better with ZIP. I am 5'9" and 181 pounds. I used size M and fits perfectly.

These are fine for running, but I was really hoping to get something with a functional back pocket that zips closed. I'm a pretty big guy and the back pocket was way too deep for storing keys. When I put keys in it, they sat about halfway down my butt. It can be painful if you sit down without thinking. Just poorly designed. Besides that, the quality of the shorts is about what you'd expect for a cheaper off brand pair. Not gonna last a long time, but not uncomfortable short-term. Overall, would have returned if I hadn't already tried running in them.

Great value! It's early, so I can't comment on long term quality, but first impressions are all 5 star. I ordered one pair of 7 inch first, but that version fit me much longer than other brands I've used in the past. I bought two more pair of 5 inch, and those are perfect for what I was looking for. The navy blue version does have a bright white mesh liner, and the black pair came with a black liner...not a fan of a white liner in a daily running short, but it launders well. Day 3 in the high humidity conditions we have in mid June, and they're preforming great. They wick away the moisture well, even on these hot muggy mornings. Should the quality not hold with use, I'll update this review, but I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

This is my second pair. I was surprised with how comfortable these shorts are. They’re very light and soft and I run with them three times a week in cold, hot, and humid conditions. They keep me comfortable and dry. They have a nice mesh liner and my only complaint with it is that I wish it were black not white for obvious reasons. They have side pockets and one small zippered pocket on the back. I could live without the back zipper because I feel it when I wear a fanny pack. But that’s a minor complaint. In an all, great shorts at a cheap price. I will definitely buy these again.
