Very happy with this camera.

Bought this camera for vacation... got it set up with addon accessories. First day of vacation and camera is dead. Amazon says my options are to 1 - send it back... tough to do since they say it needs to be received in seven days and some of the original parts are home.... 2 - they can submit a request for replacement, but the seller has 24-48 hours to respond, let alone expedite a replacement. Either way... no pictures for this vacation. Zero stars if possible to Amazon and their partnerships with 3rd party vendors. BEWARE!

so many features it's a lot to learn but this camera is rugged and takes amazing photos, I like its Wi-Fi option to wirelessly transfer photos to a phone. has incredible zoom, the screen also makes it easy to take pictures on a tripod.

First purchase through Amazon renewed and it seems to be working fine after a few days. Product looks new and had all the appropriate accessories. As for the camera itself - it's a great travel camera. Lightweight, ridiculous optical zoom, and takes good pictures using both presets and custom settings (squirrel and flower picks were custom settings, others were done with camera presets). 4K video is nice and camera works great with a smart phone (Samsung S22). Your high end cell phone camera will probably outperform this in low-light and certain closeups, but for everything else the camera will crush your puny little phone. Yes, even your Iphone. This will not compete with a DSLR or mirrorless, but you're also not going to get anywhere near the number of features or portability that you get at this price point. I would recommend this as an upgrade to a compact camera without the price of the Lumix or Sony high end bridge cameras.

Everything looks pristine, but I cannot open the battery door. The door is jammed shut for some reason. I fear damaging the Camera if I try to pry it open. Very disappointing at the moment. Update: I could open the battery door by applying pressure on the door button next to the click sideways latch. The Camera is excellent—perfect for someone like me who likes to point and shoot. I love how it feels in my hands. I use a tripod with it lowered about a foot; in one hand on the middle of the tripod, and in the other hand, I hold the Camera with my index finger on the trigger button. This steadies the shot, especially for its tremendous zoom. The photo quality is excellent. I will change it to 5 stars if all functions well. 1 star edited to 4. All is well. Love the features. the camera is everything you would expect. The latch door opens without difficulty. Possibly some swelling when it was shipped making it difficult to open.

This camera is the best powershot I've gotten so far, so light I can take my pics out of the sunroof and with the awesome auto focus I haven't had one bad picture yet. Great focus, fast focus fabulous canvas printing.

The manual states that multiple languages ​​are available, but only Japanese and English are available.
