Love these, I bought them for the amber beer bottle collection I had. They are perfect. Had no trouble putting them on. I just wished I bought more…they seal perfectly. They are very sturdy yet easy to open and close. It’s a great value.

These can be a pain to install but work well - on specific bottles with a 1 inch neck and 0.7 inch bugle at the top. This used to be a standard beer bottle shape - but now days it seems there are only a few brands that have the 0.7 bugle. But they work well on that specific bottle size. Would buy again.

Yes, the caps are a bit tricky to get on, but here are a few tips: 1) I found the rings will fit the clear Bud Lite with Lime bottles perfectly. The labels also peel off the these bottles better. 2) I used a metal chip clip as a clap to hold the bolt, ring, and nut in place so I could finger tighten it. Ironically, the chip clips were also bought on Amazon— I highly recommend the chip clips! We use them all the time. 3) I then wrapped a rubber band around the bolt, ring, and nut, and reapplied the clip to help held the nut in place as I tightened the bolt with the screwdriver. This method made the process take about 1-2 minutes per bottle. The tops fit great.

I was so hoping these were going to work but they did not. I recently started wine making and was trying to recycle some old wine bottles using these instead of corks. They were a pain in the behind to assemble and after assembly they did not give a tight seal on the bottle. I tightened the bolt and screw as tight as it would go, but it just wasn't tight enough to get a good hold on the bottle to make the seal tight. I bought them way to early (wine takes months before it is ready to bottle) so by the time I tried to use them it was to late to return. Bummer........

I have several swing top bottles, collected over the years. They're great, but expensive. These caps make it easy to reuse standard wine bottles for home cider and wine making. We live in a community that has a steady stream of wine bottles. We scavenge bottles from the recycling, wash, de-label, install these caps and we now have a collection of swing top bottles for our own needs. I also really like that these have and integrated "handle"; the little finger loop makes it really easy to transport bottles, even larger "magnum" size bottles. Note that these only fit standard wine bottles with corks. They don't fit on champagne bottles (with larger corks, and larger necks), nor do they fit on twist-off wine bottles.

These work great for converting crown top bottles to flip tops. Fits 12, 16 and 22 oz bottles well. Will not work on screw top bottles. The necks are not the same. A little hard to get all the little pieces lined up and screwed together. But, once it's done, they work perfectly.

The item I got does not fit any of the bottles I have, in multiple sizes. The video makes it look easy to install these, but that metal neck band is VERY STIFF and needs pliers to squeeze it shut. Mine aren't circular, either, they have corners. The screw hole is barely big enough for the screw and you can't just push it through to the other hole, I had to screwdriver it through and yhen use pliers to get the band tight enough to get the screw to feed into the opposing hole. After a full 30 minutes of struggle to get one installed on just one bottle, I couldn't get the thing to close shut. I won't be able to use these at all.
