The Honest Kitchen Human Grade Instant Goat's Milk with Probiotics for Dogs and Cats, 5.2 Ounces

I started using Honest Kitchen’s Instant Goat’s Milk with Probiotics for my dog, and it has quickly become a staple in his routine. The first thing I love is that it’s made with 100% human-grade ingredients, so I feel confident knowing he’s getting something safe and high-quality. It mixes up easily with warm water into a creamy milk that my pup absolutely loves — he licks the bowl clean every time. The added probiotics have been a huge plus for his digestion. I’ve waited six months before writing a review, as I wanted to be sure of the effectiveness of this supplement. It has worked as advertised. I have an 8 year old German Shepard mix that suffered from occasional loose stools and diarrhea. Changing her diet from commercial foods to homemade helped, but didn’t eliminate her problems. From day one, this has cured her of the loose stools. She has not had one instance of that since June of 2024. It is pricey, but it’s well worth the expense for me. She weighs 75 lbs., so the directions called for a tablespoon and a half daily. I cut it back to 1 tablespoon to see if there was any change in her gut health, and there has been none. I’m able to stretch it a little further that way. She uses 2 cans a month. Note- you can feed it to your pet as a liquid treat if you like. I mix it in with her food each morning. The directions call for it to be mixed in one cup of water, but I use about a third of a cup of water, as her food is too watery using one full cup. Highly recommend this product.

Great product my puppy loves it but the can is so small and it doesn't come with a scooper. Very expensive for a small can.

About this product for a rescue that was in need of different foods for different puppies and kittens and they asked for it so it must work pretty good

For several years my dog had occasional episodes of desperate grass eating – getting me up at 3 or 4 am, frantic to get out and find grass to eat. Since we don’t have a yard with grass, this means I would have to get up, get dressed, and take him out on his grass hunting expedition. When occasional episodes became frequent, and sleep deprivation was impacting my mental health, the vet began a series of diagnostic tests, none of which could explain his problem. Finally, an abdominal ultrasound showed chronic inflammation of his duodenum. In researching anti-inflammatory foods or supplements I could give him, the two things that popped up most often were goat’s milk and probiotics. Since this product has both, and is in a powdered from that keeps well, I decided to give it a try. Wow! Since I started giving this to him with his breakfast, he has not had a single episode – nearly 3 months now. It’s easy to mix with warm water, using a mini-whisk, and he loves it! He weighs 25 lbs, and 30 servings per can is absolutely accurate. I think the price is fine for the benefits. I use goat’s milk myself, since I can’t digest cow’s milk, and I pay quite a bit more for it. I’d say my dog is worth what is really a small price, especially compared to ongoing vet bills!

My puppy is cutting teeth and his puppy food is just to hard for him to chew. He loves the addition of the goat milk! It softens the food to make it easy for him to eat as those teeth come in.

Great product but super expensive. I did not realize it was such a small can! I've got 7 puppies to feed - way too small of a can and too expensive to continue using. There are others that work just as well that are much more reasonable.

My 7 month old lab puppy has been having tummy issues (digestion, poop etc). We have tried everything. Mixing up just a 1/2 serving of what is recommended on the container in warm water and putting over his morning meal has improved his belly issues and his coat looks so shiny. He loves it! The extra probiotics are great and he loves the taste.

He loves the taste, and I love the added probiotics have settled his rumbling belly and firmed up his poops. It’s easy to prepare, and he laps it up every time.

I added 1 teaspoon (not too full) to 2oz of water, so a bit less powder than "recommended", but 2 of my 3 cats loves it as is. I'll add this with their food from time to time as a treat. (The third cat is very picky, because she's a princess) I ordered this because one of my rescue doesn't like water so I add 1 oz of water per meal, this will help him get more water in his system, and maybe fill him a bit too because he always feels hungry. Smell like goat cheese (reassuring), which I find ... well I don't like it, but it's not for me, so I'm ok with it ;P I'll see how long this can last before deciding if the price is worth it to buy again.
