I ordered the blue brush meant for thicker coats. I’ve used the green version in the past and liked it, so I wanted to try this one. The brush I received has no handle unlike the photos, just round and smooth at the back, making it difficult to grip while bathing. The bristles are also much softer, making it less effective. Super bummed especially since it was not at all the product I was expecting.

OH MY GOSH!!!!This brush is absolutely a miracle!!I have a very fluffy, long haired, big boy part Maine Coon kitty. His fur is like cotton, so fine and so easy to mat. His coat was a mess because he hates to be brushed. It is always a battle with him winning. I have 5 various brushes, two curved de-matting combs and four other different combs. Just last week I bought a pro-electric clipper thinking I had no other choice but to shave him. I hated even the thought of that because his coat is beautiful when in good shape. Well, while searching for yet another brush I came across this Michel Mercier Detangling Brush and thought I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It's unbelievable at removing matts! Just brushing one really bad area using short easy strokes the matts were gone!! It's like magic! Most importantly, Shelby lied perfectly still and put up no fight. I'm so impressed that I just purchased another one. I don't ever want to be without this brush! I'm showing a picture of what I removed brushing just one side. Amazing!Whether your pet has matts or not, you won't go wrong buying this brush.

I have this brush for humans. Love it. Feels good. Works well. My cats love the brush. It removes a lot of fur and the fur stays in the brush until it is removed by you. I have tried several products. This is absolutely the best. I have two cats with completely different fur. One has lots of down that comes out everywhere. He looks like a big fluffy pile of cotton. The other just thick fur that sheds like any cat. They both love it. They are there to be brushed as long as you last. Trust me, you will get tired before your pet does. I bought one and sent to a friend that has 3 cats and they all love it.

Cheaply made, but does remove loose hair from shorthaired shedding cat without hurting her.I intend to use it to loosen hair in shedding dogs during bathing.I think it'll work.Also makes a great stash box.Seriously.Edited: the teeth break off after a couple uses.This is a waste of money.

love this brush for my extra fluffy cat. She gets easily matted, I use this on her every day and she doesn't mind it & keeps the matting to a bare minimim.

Is this a joke? Nothing gets picked up nor sticks to this. Worst purchase ever. Cheap plastic crap like a bad toy. Thought it would be soft silicone but its hard plastic
