Great lock, no key or batteries needed!
We needed to secure a door but didn't want to invest in a lot of money to do so. This is a unique lock, in that there is no battery that will need to be replaced. No key needed. There is no touch screen. The lock system is done with "jumpers" and you chose what numbers you want by moving the jumpers around. You cannot have duplicate numbers, though. The numbers do not have be compressed in any particular order, either. Then, to open, pull down on the handle. To lock the door, you pull up on the handle. You can lock the door from inside, by pulling up on the handle, too, so it will give you security. It has a nice finish and is nice and sturdy. It was easy enough to install. We had to drill some extra holes in a metal door, working around previous holes from other locks. Highly recommend!

Easy to install, excellent customer service
Make sure to order correctly Right of Left handed door. Excellent customer service - I had ordered the wrong item (Left instead of right) 2 years ago but hadn't tried to install it. When I discovered that I had ordered the wrong one, I called customer service and they promptly sent me the correct one - they didn't even ask to send the first one back! - The lock is easy to install and has excellent instructions. It is sturdy, looks nice and is rust-proof. Great lock for the price!

Easy, sturdy (secure?)
This product seems very well made and sturdy. The face plates are fairly thick, real stainless steel I believe. Install was easy and intuitive. The locking mechanism seems very secure and simple, and seems sure to be reliable. Unlike more expensive simplex-type locks, the code can be entered in any order, which significantly reduces the number of possible codes, and therefore makes it somewhat easier to guess. But, how many thieves are just trying to randomly guess your code? Not many, I would think. And in terms of guessing based on your personal information (address, phone number, birthday, etc), those numbers come with an inherent code-order built in, so I’m not sure that method of guessing is really any more likely to work on this lock vs others. I did a bit of math, and if my calculations are correct, there are something like 495 possible 4 digit codes, and 950 ish possible 6 digit codes. The user can set up for a code anywhere from 1-6 digits, and there is no overt indication of how many digits are used. So, ultimately the number of possible combinations would be the the sum of possible codes for each number of digits. I’m not going to do the math, but just guessing maybe in the neighborhood of 2000-2500-ish total? That’s much fewer than the 10,000 possible combos for a four wheel padlock, for example, but enough that I don’t think anyone is going to be standing there randomly trying to guess your combo. Applying pressure to the handle, I don’t feel any difference in pressing the coded vs non coded buttons, which is promising, but I can’t say for sure weather it would be pickable by someone who knows what they’re doing. But in any case, I share the security concerns of other reviewers about using the lock to protect something of considerable value. However, my layperson’s impression is that it’s probably as or more secure than the cheapest off the shelf deadbolts and lock-sets, which may be fairly easily picked or bumped. And with this lock, you have the potential advantage of having something that is less familiar to would-be criminals. For a handle set, which even on a door with a tight jamb or cover plate could still easily be opened with the right shaped implement (or even credit card), I think the locking mechanism is more than adequate. The other main disadvantage is the fact that it requires additional holes drilled through the door for mounting. This means that the door would need patching if you ever switch to a different lock. For a nice door of any kind, I would recommend spending the extra money for either a simplex lock that mounts in a standard mounting hole, or one that you can be fairly sure you will be able to replace with the same model later on. But for a garage door, gate, shed, storage room, etc. it’s a really high quality product for 1/6th the price of a similar simplex lock from a major brand. And no batteries to worry about, or backup keys to loose. Excellent, for what it is.

Medium good quality
Medium good quality, replace a US standard door knob, additional holes required, take a mind that it doesn't lock automatically you have to twist up the handle to lock, but it does close the door automatically like a Standard knob

Cheap metallurgy
If you want a cheaply made product, definitely buy this one! Cheap import metallurgy allows the inside handle to snap off at the worst possible time and when it is sub 30F degrees. Absolutely junk and it was such it's entire life!

Good
Needed a tamper resistant solution that could not be disabled by a simple battery removal. It is good for low usage as it requires knowledge on how to relock it. You must pull up on the handle to insure it locks. But for a semi public pool bathroom and a condo gym it works well and the homeless can't take out the batteries and sleep inside.

Fantastic!
I installed this on my outer door to our porch. Double check that you have clearance above the doorknob since this is very tall. My son and I took out the old doorknob, used the template to mark where to drill, and got the new one on in probably 45 minutes total. Changing the combination was very easy! I wish there were other colors, like oiled bronze or brass, since silver is a weird aesthetic for our house. Nevertheless it is sturdy, easy to use, and we have no complaints! I changed the inner door two years ago with a deadbolt and just wanted a doorknob for the porch door. My kids can use it easily and no one loses keys! We live in an area that gets snow and the winters are dark, and this knob is great. No batteries to run out and a rubber/silicon pad to keep it weather proofed. Be careful that you get the right or left opening depending on your door, the other won’t work due to the locking function. To lock it, you lift up either from the inside or the outside, it’s that easy!

Love the quality components - very sturdy, not flimsy at all. My contractors set this up - they said it was a little bit of a challenge, as the original standard door handle holes are larger and did not line up well with these holes (almost overlapped), thus decreasing the overall strength of the lock (ie could be kicked in more easily). However, I am using this for a rental on an interior door, so sufficient strength for my needs. Looks great, very convenient so far. Not looking forward to changing the combination, as apparently you have to remove the top plate and manually change the metal bits inside. However, a great buy so far.

We are in a huge storm right now and I can’t get into my house. The handle feels like it’s disengaged or something. It doesn’t feel Connected to the latch. I cannot get in my house!!

The installation was a bit challenging, even for a very good handy man, there were some swear words said! Lol. Honestly, once installed and in use, it looks awesome and works awesome :) I’m very impressed with how sturdy it is and just how easy it will be to re-code the lock if we ever need to. I love that we won’t have to worry about batteries too.

Other then the door being no good if it breaks. My kids love this. A little discoloring.⁹ And it works well thanks
