Obviously you use this to sort pills; but can be used for other small items. The reason for me to write this review is to verify from an actual customer that it is well made and makes sorting easy. If you need for example to sort out one item per day to take over a month this is so much easier than dumping them onto a tissue to do the same task. I prefer to use the tube side that has the lid and for what it is worth the hinges on mine are nice and stiff so the lid stays out of my way while using (it doesn't flop back and forth for example). Went with the blue because I figured a darker color would have a better contrast with most things one would put on it to sort out. Most pills etc are not dark blue in color. Although I think a black color would really be the best option. For sanitary purposes I wipe down the pill area and tool with rubbing alcohol before using each time. Really glad I was able to find this product. Would buy again if for some reason I needed to.

This is so easy to use and more effective than counting pills on the table and touching each pill.

Good quality materials for the money

Bought this to assist with filling weekly pill containers versus counting quantity. It serves its purpose and I haven't spilled pills to roll and drop all over with this tool. Probably not durable enough for long term use in a commercial or large quantity operation; however, for normal household use it works great.

This is such a helpful tool! I like that it came with two different types of separating/counting sticks but technically you have three options you can use since one stick is double ended. It’s quality made from thick materials. I also like that it came in a color option so that medications are easier to see. I purchased the blue color and even though I have some medications that are blue I can still easily see them unlike my old white one as I could hardly see the white pills when I used that one. The only thing I wish I could change about this is that I wish it had double closed in sides with one side having a smaller pour spout, as the spout on this one is too big to fit in my smaller bottles.

For some reason I thought this would make sorting pills easier but I never use it.
