Tasty (Glass) Noodle Low Calorie Meal With Variety Of Mushrooms That Is Filling! PAITAN Is GREASY.
I am a HUGE noodle fan. Noodles are not always the best option when you are trying to watch your waistline. I am also trying to increase mushroom intake in my diet. Enter this great option with 125 calories with a very good mushroom variety. Easy to make and tasty. A little heavy on the pepper, but I like pepper and you can cut that down quite a bit by not finishing the broth which will also reduce sodium intake. I like to add water, microwave it, and then allow the noodles to sit in the microwave so the glass noodles can plump up and absorb the broth flavor. Then I often add a little more warm water to add some more liquid back to it. Filling with a good texture. I like this a lot! PAITAN Flavor: ZERO or NEGATIVE Stars. I have never had Paitan before so I have nothing to compare this Paitan before, but HOLY HECK. BUYER BEWARE! This Paitan eats GREASY. One bite and it was a greasy mouthful. So gross that I spit it out, the rest went in the trash, and the five unopened untouched Paitan bowls were returned for refund. It was so bad that I may never try Paitan ever again. HARD pass.

My favorite glass noodles - super easy & delicious
I got hooked on these after trying one from Daiso. Well they don't always have them so I'm happy I can get a six pack. I do pick out a lot of the of the green onions because I don't like them but otherwise amazing delicious noodles. Also good broth and I drink that as well.

Tasty and Convenient Ramen Alternative
TL;DR: These noodles offer a tasty and convenient option for ramen lovers. With a variety of flavors and easy preparation, they make for a satisfying meal. However, some may find the portion size a bit small compared to traditional ramen options. Review: These noodles provide a convenient and flavorful alternative to traditional ramen. With six different flavors in the variety pack, there is plenty of variety to satisfy different taste preferences. One of the standout features of these noodles is their taste. The flavors are well-balanced and enjoyable, offering a satisfying experience with each bowl. Whether you prefer a classic chicken flavor or something more adventurous like kimchi, these noodles have options to suit different cravings. Preparing these noodles is quick and easy. Simply add boiling water and let them sit for a few minutes. The noodles have a good texture and are not overly soft or mushy when cooked properly. While the taste and convenience of these noodles are commendable, it's worth noting that the portion size may be smaller than what some ramen enthusiasts are accustomed to. Those with larger appetites may find themselves wanting a bit more substance. However, considering the convenience and flavor, this may not be a significant issue for everyone. In summary, these noodles offer a tasty and convenient option for those looking for a quick ramen alternative. The variety of flavors and easy preparation make them an appealing choice. However, individuals with larger appetites may find the portion size a bit small compared to traditional ramen options. Overall, these noodles provide a satisfying and flavorful meal. Pros: - Variety of flavors to suit different tastes - Convenient and quick preparation - Well-balanced and enjoyable taste - Good texture of the noodles Cons: - Portion size may be smaller compared to traditional ramen options

Great taste
We got these yesterday and had them for lunch today. I added some dried ramen dehydrated fish and veggies to them. Very spicy and I loved the chew of the noodles. My husband said I could have the rest and he would stick to instant ramen. I'm so glad I get the rest!! Easy to make. Not too salty and I loved the spice level. Will be reordering.

Great tasteful products. Will buy again.
Very tasteful with lots of ingredients and also low calories. I sometimes bring this to my office for my quick lunch or late snack. My favorite ones are Kimchi and Spicy Sesame. Both moderately spicy but not too spicy. I will recommend to my friends.

Blaaand...so create your own flavor with crunchy kale or herbal salt substitute
The bowl of noodles is specified as 2 servings, each with 500 grams of sodium. Of course each diner typically eats a whole bowl. Well, it did not taste salty, or mushroomy, but the dominant black pepper flavor was progressively stronger. Adding boiling water up to the bowl guide line produces a moderately thick noodle mass without enough broth to qualify as soup. I've had two trials: (1) The solids cake atop the dry cellophane noodles begins to dissolve when the hot water is poured on it, the plastic lid is replaced and the noodles steep for 3 minutes or longer. Then stir well before eating. See the reconstituted mushroom pieces, the yellow egg fragments. Roll up a mouthful of slippery noodles on your fork, lean over the bowl as you incise off their dangling ends.Taste nothing but black pepper, hardly intriguing, eh. (2) For the next trial, before adding the boiling water I crumbled some dried raw crunchy kale, dusted with natural flavor ingredients, atop the noodles and added a dash of soy sauce. The result was tasty noodles with an appealing green vegetable. (I've ordered an herbal salt substitute that I'm confident will add zing to my next bowl.)

Best oriental noodles EVER!!!!
After ordering these, I was shocked that I had paid so much for so few servings (about $2.33 per bowl). Once I got these, again, I had to shake my head at my own indulgence. Then I tasted them! OH... MY... GOSH!!!! These were, without a doubt, the BEST oriental noodles I've ever tasted. To say that they didn't skimp on the mushrooms is an understatement! There were mushrooms in every bite. And not just little bits of mushrooms. They were whole, and the texture and taste was wonderful. Another wonderful surprise was that the noodles never got mushy or stuck together -- even when I forgot I had them soaking, and left them for more than 20 minutes. Another nice surprise was learning that these wonderful noodles have four grams of fiber in each bowl. Even though these are very filling (probably because of the fiber), they only contain 190 calories, and 1 gram of fat. One bowl is perfect for any entire meal. And the flavor is perfect... not too spicy, not too bland, but just right. Added to all the above is that they're incredibly easy to prepare. Open the flavor/mushroom/egg pack, put it atop noodles, pour boiling water over everything, replace cover and wait three minutes. There are two things I do different when preparing these (but just because of my preferences, not because the instructions are faulty -- they're not). I add less water than the instructions suggest -- I prefer these more noodle-y and less soup-ey, and 1-1/2 cups of boiling water is the perfect amount for my preference. I also let it set for five minutes, giving the noodles a chance to soak up more of the water. Are these mushrooms pricey? Yes, they are. Are they overpriced? Not at all! I will definitely buy these tasty and nutritious noodles again!

Mildly Missed Mark: Crystal Noodle's Spicy Sesame Paste, Lacking the Zest
Crystal Noodle's Spicy Sesame Paste in a 2.47 oz Cardboard Cup, offered in a convenient 6-count package, promises a quick, flavorful noodle fix but falls short of expectations, earning a modest two-star rating. The product, which teases a spicy and savory experience, unfortunately skims on the depth and intensity of flavors, leaving a lot to be desired for those seeking a bold taste adventure. The allure of this noodle cup lies in its convenience and the promise of a spicy sesame infusion. The packaging suggests a hassle-free preparation, ideal for quick meals or snacks. However, upon tasting, the 'spicy' element seems to be a misnomer. Instead of the anticipated warmth and complexity that sesame and spice should bring, the noodles swim in a sea of mildness, lacking the punch that one would expect from a product labeled as spicy. While the texture of the noodles may be satisfactory, providing a suitable chewiness that one seeks in instant noodle dishes, it's the flavor profile that significantly underwhelms. The sesame paste, which should be the star of the show, fails to deliver the rich, nutty, and fiery notes that could elevate these noodles from simple to spectacular. This shortfall is particularly noticeable for those who relish authentic or robustly flavored Asian noodle dishes. The expectation of a spicy kick, combined with the aromatic depth of sesame, remains unmet, leaving the palate searching for the excitement that was promised. For those seeking a mild, understated noodle dish, Crystal Noodle's Spicy Sesame Paste may suffice. However, for the spice enthusiasts and flavor chasers, this product might not hit the mark, hence the two-star rating. TL;DR: Crystal Noodle's Spicy Sesame Paste noodles, while convenient and easy to prepare, disappoint in the flavor department, offering a bland experience rather than the expected spicy and rich sesame taste. It earns two stars, suitable for those preferring milder flavors but a letdown for those craving a true spicy kick.
