I bought the daylight white which some feel is too bright. Unlike many LED flexible strips, these are directional (as were the ones I replaced) and I love the brightness. I don't like seeing any light bulb so I point the led's to the ceiling/wall which has perfect bright but reflective light. Came with 2 cords in case you want to cut it in half/pieces. Now a bonus. Please note the manufacturer responded to a question about these that they are not dimmable. I had a dimmer on my previous/similar LED's, and it works well with these as well, not jumpy at all a smooth dimming (even though they are perfect brightness for me as is). The dimmer that worked for me (but not supported) is a Credenza Lamp Dimmer by Lutron, P39 which is not a traditional switch but an inline dimmer. Plug the lights into the plug on the dimmer then plug the dimmer in the wall (there is a 6 foot cord on the dimmer so you don't need to reach to the socket each time).

Put them up under the overhang on our house and on a timer. They're nice and bright and the 3k kelvin temp is the perfect warm color for a great ambient lighting feeling. The quality of the housing the lights are in is pretty rugged. The end cap helps keep moisture out. And while I didn't use the extra hardware to cut the rope it was a nice touch to include it in case you want to cut to fit the perfect length and not waste what's left over. 50ft for $40 is a great price for this quality. I'm quite impressed with these lights.

As several of the other reviews state, these lights are bright and non dimmable. With that said, I love the amount of light they give off and they were very easy to cut and install. Also, I used Romex staples to attach to the hand rails. They were a lot easier for me to install and hold the lights perfectly flat. I am a lot OCD. Also a 9/16” hole was drilled in my vertical post, as close to the hand rail as possible, and the lights run through the post to minimize connections. One plug powers the whole deck. It took some planning but worked out amazing!

Used these to put a strip down hallway of barn for subtle lighting at sunrise/sunset. Easy to install, and provide decent light even in outside conditions. Not as super bright as I had hoped based on other reviews, but for outside use in the daylight, still VERY good for LED strip. Appears to be very well made and I'm expecting it to last a long time.

Edit: June2020 we have had it for almost a year and it has held up well! We get so many compliments on how nice the lighting is, not overpowering but a nice ambiance. Very happy with it!! I used this to run lights around my deck railing. It was flexible enough to turn and twist as needed around things. We had to fasten it under the top of the railing so it faced downward instead of facing outward due to how strong the lights were. It made you squint even in moderat light. To remidy the areas we wrapped it around to go up and around things like a doorway we turned the LED lights inward towards the wood. If it was out is was too bright. The amount of light was much more acceptable for the eye, no squinting, and it was a warmer glow due to reflecting off the wood. We have only had it on for 5days. We will see how long it lasts. All in all it was not hard to set up and the results were great.

These lights are exactly what we wanted. We actually expected them to be a little more cheap feeling because some strip lights are just adhesive on the back. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of these lights for the price. My husband and around the porch and it lights up our porch light daylight even at night. We chose not to use the included clips, rather, we put them up under one layer of vinyl.

I purchased this item based on the mostly good review. When I received this item, I connected the LED tube on one end with one of the power plugs, and the LED lights worked great. I noticed that the connection on the far end was bent a little bit out of the box; I didn't pay close attention to it since the LED lights seemed to be working, but this turned out to be a serious problem. Fast forward to a few days later after I installed the lights, I noticed the LED lights started flashing and a few seconds later some smoke coming out from the connection which was bent. Apparently, the connection and the tube nearby was burned and it was black inside. I am very disappointed with the product quality. The power plug came with fuse, but it was not helpful in this situation at all. I think the connection probably came with some broken wiring inside. I was glad I was home when this happened, otherwise it could turn into a fire hazard.

We purchased 150 ft of the warm white striplight for our deck. The plan was to just run it under the top railing and have this subtle nice glow but it was so bright and WHITE that I felt like the Griswolds at Christmas time. We have a 3 story house and the light reflecting off of the deck was bright enough to show at the top of our home. I was embarrassed and we unplugged immediately after screwing and installing all the strips of light. Instead of returning it, we added a strip of wood around the lighting to conceal some of the lighting and it's much better now. It's more subtle and not blinding when you walk outside at night. Great quality lighting, it just seems like it would serve a better purpose for a commercial business or even a car dealership hahaha... because it's that bright!
