JLM Diesel Turbo Cleaner | Advanced Fuel Additive for Engine Maintenance, 500ml (J02380)

After trying a few different additives to try and free my stuck turbo vanes on my diesel car with no success I though give this a try before a lot of hassle to try and get at the turbo and try clean it with mr muscle oven cleaner, looks easy on you tube but my car was not like these Just tipped this in a 3/4 full tank and drove the car as stated in instructions, did not work out straight away but after a few days of running noticed the car was running better and when pulling up hills no management light and no limp home mode , it did seem that it improved after about 10 days of running, have re filled tank a few times and so far car seems to be running much better and no warning lights

Tried this in a 2012 Diesel Ford with suspected sticking turbo vanes. Used as described and not cured the problem. Others may have better luck. Note that you will probably need a fuel filler funnel (for diesel) to actually get this into the tank so make sure you have one or get one.

Destroyed my turbo completely now having to replace turbo at Cost of 780. Seized up accuature. After following YouTube official instructions performance was worse and eventually seized after a few days. Turbo was working ok but not perfect before hand so gave it a go. Cost me dearly. Gamble at your own risk.

Not cheap enough , can’t tell any difference in my Engine

Didn’t do any miracles, but I didn’t expected that it would. But it smoothened stucking turbo, so it did do something. It did’t repair it though. If your turbo isn’t completely yesterdays news, this might be worth trying.

Tenía un problema con mi coche un Land Rover freelander 2, cuando llegaba a las 2000 rpm en sexta empezaba a vibrar y si ponea la velocidad de crucero cortaba automáticamente como si entrara en modo protección, vi que el problema era del turbo, soy mecánico. Decidí comprar este bote antes de desmontarlo que lleva muchísimo trabajo. A la vuelta de un viaje decidí echarlo cuando reposte diésel para mezclarlo bien. Es decir justo antes de repostar. IMPORTANTE: Vine desde Bielsa a Huesca a 3000 y 4000rpm , me dolía a mi más que al coche pero fue mano de santo, después lo tuve a ralenti unos 5 minutos y pare a comer. Después la conducción fue normal, incluso probé en sexta a ahogarlo a 1500 rpm y con el botón del crucero acelerar respondiendo perfectamente y comprobando que el producto había cumplido 100%. Creo que ya no lo vende Amazon porque quise pedir otro y no esta disponible, una pena. OJO SOLO FUNCIONA EN VIAJE LARGO, CON MUCHAS RPM Y GASTANDO PRÁCTICAMENTE EL DEPOSITO, NO esperes echarlo y hacer una conducción normal por que vas a tirar el dinero.

Ich bin bei Mittelchen für den Motor eigentlich sehr skeptisch, gerade welche, die verbrennen und trotzdem dann helfen sollen. Ich hatte das Problem, dass mein Motor 2.2L CRDI sehr kraftlos lief, im Stand ruckelte und bei jedem Gasstoss der Turbo laut pfiff. Als Fehlermeldung beim Turbo/AGR Stellgliedtest kam dann, dass die VTG Verstellung nicht in seinem maximal möglichen Bereich arbeitet. Ich habe dann erst einmal Vorarbeiten geleistet: Ölwechsel, Drosselklappe gereinigt, AGR und Leitungen soweit möglich vom Russ befreit und die Schaufeln vom VTG Turbolader auf Leichtgängigkeit geprüft. Bei diesen merkte man aber am unteren und oberen Endanschlag einen zähen Widerstand. Laut Werkstatt Manual sollte man den Verstellarm ca. 30x auf und abwärts bewegen um die Verkokungen zu lösen. Anschließend habe ich den JLM Cleaner in den Tank gefüllt und bin eine längere am Stück Strecke gefahren. Zuerst war noch keine Besserung spürbar, aber im Laufe der Zeit, nach ein paar 100km wurde es immer besser. Mittlerweile habe ich mehrere Tankfüllungen hinter mir und der Motor läuft wieder früher, kraftvoll und spritzig, kein ruckeln mehr im Stand, kaum mehr Turbopfeifen und der Verbrauch ist wieder um ca. 1,4 Liter auf 8,1 von zuvor 9,5 gesunken. Ich habe den Stellgliedtest nun erneut ausgeführt, keine Fehler mehr! Bei der mechanischen Gegenprobe lässt sich nun auch der VTG-Verstellarm wieder leicht bewegen. Für absolut top! Ich nehme mal an, dass auch die Injektoren und das AGR System profitieren. Schaden kann es nicht, ich werde das mal alle paar Monate einfüllen, sobald ich schlechteren oder raueren Motorlauf feststelle.
