Its been out there working just fine through heat and cold, rain and snow. Easy to install and perfect for that dark area you like to keep an eye on.

I am on my third set of this light. The first one finally quit after over 2 years of daily charge and discharge. In fact, I purchased a replacement Li ION battery, easily replaced it myself with a small Phillips screwdriver and that one is back in service.The amazing feature is that it lasts all night long and that it does so without having to be in direct sunlight all day. I have purchased two more since then but with the repaired one, have 3. The Battery is in a single cell, 18650 (2200ah or so) 3.7V.) easy to find on Amazon.The battery lasts all night due to it is low power LEDs and has motion sensor so it is only in bright mode when there is movement detected. But it stays on, just dimmer, all night. (on one cell!)The base and mount are metal and part of the solar cell is plastic. There are two adjustments so getting the light aimed and the solar cells adjusted to the sky is fairly easy. Again, it only needs open sky.

As many have noted, the light is not without its shortcomings. Since it uses "standard" LED bulbs (vs. SMDs) it's not extremely bright, but this wasn't an issue for me.Being able to independently aim the solar panel and light is a big plus if the location doesn't get a lot of direct sunlight. It's also quite well put together and, after 2 years of use still looks all but new. The solar panel, unlike others I've purchased, is not faded or delaminating. The aluminum case is not chipping or peeling or showing the effects of having lived through 2 years of Pacific Northwest weather (ranging in this time between 10 and 115 degrees).What sets this light apart is the company selling and warranting it. I'm sure we've all bought things here with a generous warranty period, only to find that a few months or a year later, the company is either out of business or no longer selling on Amazon.With the days getting shorter, I noted that 3 of the individual LEDs in my unit were no longer working. I wrote to the seller on Sunday morning, hoping there was a chance I'd get lucky. Within hours, I had a response offering me a free replacement. All I had to do was provide the order number.The representative I communicated with was polite and professional, and most of all ... helpful. In my mind, this makes this item worth purchasing.

Mounted above our gate for locking or unlocking at night, still working after 3 years.

I may have to order more.

Worked great at first then stopped working. I have no idea why.

This light does exactly what it is supposed to do. It looks nice, is nice and bright and performs great.

I have ordered two of these years ago, 1 in cool white, 1 in warm white. Warm white was really nice but only lasted two years. I recently ordered two more of these both in warm white. I recieved 2x cool white. I use the return process for an exchange... And recieved more cool white models. Waste of time and money. another week without lights due to bad customer service.
