Pond's Cream, Dry Skin 3.9 oz (Pack of 3)

Due to the cold Midwest winter months, my skin has been really dry and dull. Unfortunately, this includes my face which leaves my makeup looking cakey and flaky. I also have the joy of having combination dry and oily skin, so I am often worried than curing the dryness will cause more oiliness. Thus, I am typically leery of using any kind of heavy face cream. I came across Pond's Dry Skin Cream on Amazon. It seemed to be a reasonably priced option to help cure my dry face. I figured it was worth a shot, so I ordered a jar. I have been really happy with the results! It has really taken the dryness away, but I have not noticed any increase in oiliness. I wash my face, use toner, then apply this liberally before going to bed. My face looks much brighter and more moisturized, and I can go back to my normal makeup routine again! I have tried a lot of higher end brands, but I always come back to this when my face is particularly dry. I would highly recommend this product!

I love it. I finally found the perfect cream for my face. My skin is kind of oily, I tend to over dry with face wash to fight acnes. This cream helped keeping my skin moisture, not greasy and I didn't notice any increase of acnes, if anything it helps. I'm also very comfortable with the smell, nice yet no musky scent.

How long has Pond's Dry Skin cream been around? I don't know, but I used to buy it at Woolworth's. It's a great cream when your skin is dry but you don't feel like spending a fortune for some miracle in a jar. It's rich, but not greasy, and it disappears quickly. I don't usually use it under my foundation, but I do put it on my neck. If you're over 40, look at your neck skin in a close-up mirror and you'll see why. I keep a jar by the bed too, for hands and feet. The smaller 3.9 oz size can be hard to find, so I'm happy to find it here.

Love this and it is very hydrating. It really helped cure the dryness on my face. I get bad breakouts and this seems to give me some white heads only --not zits (might be because the mineral oil in it) I just wish it comes in a more hygienic container like a pump.

I never taken care of my face as I should so I ordered a jar of this to start the process. Turning 30 is boring and hard. so far this has been a really, really great choice!! I have very sensitive skin and I get little to no breakouts and this lotion has been a perfect balance to keep that consistent. I've tried other lotions that claimed to be amazing (I'm looking at you Lush) and have either broken out of the ingredients have dried my skin out drastically. I will buy this again and continue to use it.

Very moisturizing for winter. I was in need to switch from my lighter moisturizer to a heavier one for the cold, drier months. This fit the bill and the price was great. It's rich, absorbs well and leaves my skin very soft. I apply it at night and go to bed and in the morning and in the morning, I wake up with soft skin. I use an spf moisturizer through the day. I haven't found this cream to clog my pores either but I have dry skin. Worth checking out if you're looking for a thicker cream for winter.

I like this cream, but I don't love it. The pros are it hydrates my skin and it's good for sensitive skin. I've been using it periodically for several months and I've never had a reaction to it and I'm ultra-sensitive. The cons are it doesn't really do anything else. My skin gets particularly dry in the winter months and that's when I first purchased it and used it religiously for several weeks. My skin felt decent, but I didn't see a noticeable difference. I switched it up to another brand and still use this every once in a while because I do like the smell and the consistency.

I bought ponds cold cream and got hooked so I decided to try their facial moisturizer. For a little background, I usually buy my skincare from Macy's. But once I found ponds cold cream to better than the high end stuff, I made a quick switch! I have very dry skin. I use a department store serum and eye cream, and this moisturizer and ponds cold cream cleanser. I couldn't be happier! This cream actually works better, and leaves my skin eat softer and smoother than high end brands. It seems to last long also, I don't need to reapply. I don't know if ponds makes serums or eye creams, but from my experience I'd give them a shot based on how great the other products, including this, work!

Die Creme an sich ist sehr gut, riecht gut und eignet sich auch als Grundlage für Make Up. Leider kommt - zum wiederholten mal - die Creme halb offen und verschmiert an. Generell findet man keine gesonderte Abdeckung für das erste Öffnen. Die Creme sieht auch anders aus, als auf dem Bild, aber absonsten ganz okay. EDIT: diesmal war die Creme nicht offen, aber ich kaufe sie immer gern. Der Geruch ist wunderschön und dabei mild und meine Haut fühlt sich unglaublich weich an. Ich kannte damals die PONDS für 2 EURO nochwas, bei dem es einen ganzen Bottig gab mit Aloe Vera ( gabs auch mit Shea Butter), dies war mein absoluter Favorit, leider gibt es diese Creme nicht mehr und diese hier ist als Alternative echt sehr gut. Leider ist dieser Bottig sehr tief und man muss ziemlich Tief reingreifen wenn man schon am ende ist, aber mehr ist daran nicht auszusetzen, daher gehe ich auf 5/5 Sternen.
