Easy to fit and provides good even lighting
The media could not be loaded. Since everything went LED I lost the plot a little on how the ratings related to brightness. After a fair bit of searching across sites I figured out that the simple version is wattage is the power consumption and lumens is the brightness. This light is 1760 lumens but I found no easy way to estimate what that means in real life so was relieved after fitting that this one is ample for my needs and small garden. The temptation was to go for one with the highest output but I now think that would have been a mistake, I don't think it is just about brightness, the colour cast by the light can make a big difference to your perception of how well light the area is.I found fitting quite simple, take the back plate off, decide where you are going to feed the cable in and then install and secure the backplate to the wall, The light is then connected to your wires while the plate is on the wall and you slide the light onto the bracket securing it with one screw. The adjusters for sensitivity and timing are readable and easy to access better than the average ones that are small and fiddly. Not the cheapest light but it does feel to be of a good quality, the sensor covers 240 degrees so even although it is outside my back door pointing away from the house it picks you up coming out the door as well as covering the garden. When trying to make the choice I found no real images of how much light this unit produces so I took a video to hopefully help anyone else trying to figure out what 1760 lumens looks like.Time will tell how it stands up to the winter and if the extra cost was worth it but at this point I think it was worth the extra money, we shall see...

Very good quality
The item was very good quality but the daylight was still very bright. I solved it by getting some 3mm opaque acrylic and putting that on the light - this seems to do the trick and I have a perfect light.Nice and sensitive on the sensor too.Well recommended

Poor instructions
Very good quality as usual from the most expensive brand but the pictogram instructions are very poor. There is no reference anywhere to the timing or darkness controls. You are left to dismantle the front to discover this hidden under a ring, which also serves apparently to hold any blinds you fit. This also is totally ignored! What are these people thinking of with a very very expensive product. I would also add that connecting the terminals and fitting them in the enclosure is not easy at the top of a ladder, although this is the same with other lights. Why don’t they use Wago fittings. So so much easier. More thought needed to justify premium price.

Its expensive but easy to fit and works brilliantly
We have already tried 4 different brands of outdoor PIR lights. Most only seem to last 6 months then break and it's usually a case of replacing it. This one is extremely easy to fit, our electrician loves it apparently due to its easy settings (no fiddling about with the sensor as it is a 1-5 numbered setting that works as it is meant to) and has been working brilliantly (so far 1 month in). I'm hoping no more replacements. thoroughly recomend

Quality outside light
The light is very effective and easy to install .The instructions on the light and time setting could be made easier and a test setting available before installing

Lasted for 11 months
This light is great when it works. Sensor picks up as required and the light is bright and flood lights a wide area. I have bought cheaper lights but hoped this would last longer. Sadly not though. Eleven months is extremely disappointing
