This is a product and seller review After originally being shipped a faulty unit, I was a little discouraged. However, the seller made sure a replacement unit arrived prior to a booked gig. The new unit is performing flawlessly. While the manual is hard to understand (language barrier) operation of the unit is easy to figure out. The lights are bright and perfect for part-time DJing, band shows, or a dance party at home with your children. The menu offers multiple programs with auto timing sequence or sound-based support. There are additional options for lighting calibration, debugging, and other configuration items. If preferred, there is a DMX in/out to support a more full-featured controller as well. At this price point, it's certainly more than expected. In reference to the faulty unit and the overall experience. In business, most understand that the products sold are not always perfect as we hope. What sets the business apart is how these issues are handled. This seller really came through with consideration of a scheduled event and ensured that customer satisfaction is their first priority.

Love the lights and the functions. But, plastic was a bit broke. Nothing too big, just little bit of glue. And the lights were kind of low, not taller than me.

I bought these lights to use at gigs with my band. They are easy to assemble and quick to set up. They are bright and give you several different patterns of lights to chose from as well as easily sync with the music. They don't get hot to the touch or put off any heat if you are standing near them (per my Bass player). Overall, I am pleased with my purchase but, I wish these lights extended about a foot higher. I am going to add an extension to make them taller but right now, they are at eye level for most of the band members. Great lights other than that though! I only ordered one to see if they were going to work for us. I'm getting ready to purchase a second one for the other side of the stage. I'll deal with the height of the lights on my own!

Lights are great but why no carry bag?

As a mobile DJ who does mid-sized events, including weddings, these lights have a serious punch to them. They're easy to move around and have a variety of patterns that make the dance floor look great. They're definitely a nice investment for the money!

I play in a classic rock band and looked around for some lights to use behind the group when we performed. I found these lights on Amazon and ordered two sets. First, the lights are bright. They light up a small stage area and project well into the audience. I've had audience members tell me the lights were so bright that they were almost blinding. The lights themselves are housed in what appears to be a plastic housing with a thin metal base. The units are very light and one person can easily place them on their stands. The stands are subpar. They are light plastic and extend almost 6 feet high, but that is a little too low. I replaced the stands with a set that was more substantial. The infrared remote is simple and only contains five settings, and sometimes I've had to aim the remotes precisely at the receiving unit on the lights to get them to come on. One remote will work both sets of lights, if necessary. These lights could be programmed if you had the necessary accessories, but we don't have the time when setting up to go into that detail, nor do we have the required DMX controller (or someone to operate/program it). All in all, they work well for the use they are put to. One of these days, I'll probably buy two more sets, invest in a DMX controller and work up an actual light show to go with our music, but for now, they serve the purpose of giving the band some back lighting (we use white lights to the front of the band to get a consistent color). So, if you want decent, albeit simplistic stage lighting at a reasonable price, you should invest in a set or two of these lights. They're bright, they're light-weight and they work.

i’ll have to test this with my big speakers but the audio has to pretty loud for the sound to be activated in these. but the lights are bright! it’s also tall and the weight is good. doesn’t feel cheap!
