I was intrigued to try Raaka's non-dairy "milk chocolate" as soon as I saw it; it's hard to find a good vegan milk chocolate. Generally I prefer dark chocolate but sometimes I want something more like "candy" or that's reminiscent of the milk chocolate I had growing up. This does the trick. It's super creamy, immediately melted in my mouth and had no weird aftertastes or textural qualities like some other vegan milk chocolates I've tried. The coconut flavor is present but not overpowering; think coconut milk not coconut shreds. I know a lot of chocolatiers and it's not easy to do a vegan milk chocolate; great job Raaka!

This might be tremendous for a dark chocolate lover. I bought because I was looking for soy free, dairy free milk chocolate and it said coconut milk and only 60% cacao. I've had 72%, which is at the edge of my bitter preference, that was much milder and smoother (too me) than this. I did note the coconut milk in the aftertaste, and strong overtones which reminded me of a dry red wine. I'd hoped that at 60% it would be much milder. Unfortunately this was some of the bitterest chocolate I've ever tasted (given that I tend to avoid the stronger dark chocolates). Even baking chocolate which is a lot flatter in flavor. So recommend for dark chocolate fans, but if you are trying to steer clear of bitter, wouldn't recommend.

I ordered these for my daughter who absolutely Loves chocolate. After she received the package, she called me and told me it is the BEST chocolate she’s ever had in her life. So Yes, I would highly recommend this product and I also recommend watching the YouTube video that shows the time and care this company puts into their chocolate, they Really care. That’s what sold Me.

I didn't like it that much. The high cacao content made the chocolate taste somewhat bitter. However, it has a smooth flavor that anyone who likes less sweet chocolates can appreciate. Furthermore, if you don't like coconut I wouldn't recommend this at all as it does permeate the chocolate.

This is excellent chocolate but my bars arrived in pieces! I ordered them as a gift! Ordered from another vendor. Chocolate had melted and solidified. Is old and tasteless!

I can't have dairy milk of any sort this was An Awesome find. Very smooth and yummy

Sweet Mother’s Day gift!

As another reviewer stated, this is not a $10 chocolate bar, and I agree. With shipping, I paid over $12. I ordered a variety of vegan chocolate to see what they were like, and this one was the most mediocre. It tastes like coconut oil with sugar and coco powder, which is basically what it is, and I can make that myself for next to nothing. It also arrived melted, so I had to refrigerate it before trying it. Sweet Chocolate Dream is far better, and you get much more per dollar, and it's available right here on Amazon. For a true vegan chocolate treat look up Rose City Chocolatier.
