I've seen others say that the nose dives a bit. how can i keep from having this issue? also, what modification is usually needed? (2001 sr5)

I don't have that issue whatsoever. Actually made front more stiff so it would dive less. I like how it rides now, originally wanted the toytec lifts since they are down the street from me but this Rough Country one was so much cheaper that I went for it. I'm happy so far and definitely got full of three inches a lift out of it. Just got my 33 inch tires in yesterday but have not installed them yet. May or may not require any trimming by the looks of it but otherwise no modifications that I know of. Definitely do the diff drop kit as well. For $30 and about 15 minutes of install time

About an 1 1/2" tall and the same width as the coil over.

So do the spacers go on the front only and then the shocks and the springs go in the rear?

Yes, this is a pretty simple swap. I needed all new suspension so I used the spacers with a set of new FCS 1336341L (and R) Complete Strut Assembly. If you need all new and are considering this- do it. It's an easy fix for right around $450
