COVERGIRL Base Business Face Primer, Pore Minimizing 300, 1.01 Ounce

This is honestly the best primer I can find. I’ve bought quite a few others, even the more expensive ones and literally nothing has been as effective as this product. Creates a blur effect, smooths fine lines fairly well and is just all around the only reliable product of its kind- is dependable for results. Not too thick, barely any scent. It drives me nuts anytime I’ve tried out another product (especially the high dollar ones) and they were a complete let down and a waste.

Love this product. Makes my foundation blend better and therefore I use less saving money. It eases redness. I do not have extremely red skin but where I have redness it helps make it less noticeable.

Totally prepares your skin for applying foundation. Lightweight and works very well.

Definitely would recommend this product. It did what it’s supposed to do and it’s not drying. It is very lightweight coverage, but it covers the red in it neutralizes it. would recommend.

Having been a devoted fan of a particular really good (Smashbox) primer for YEARS, I have decided to branch out & try some more reasonably priced options. And I've tried quite a few, in many price ranges. Cover Girl, you've hit the nail on the head with a low priced, good primer. At just under the $5 range, it provides a smooth surface for makeup application. It's very light weight and comfortable to wear. It's not cakey & feels very much like applying a moisturizer. Observation 1: I have to use more of this than I do my normal primer. Not excessively more, but definitely more than the dime sized amount I was used to using. Observation 2: Water based & silicon/oil based primers are different. Your foundation ingredients must mesh with your primer ingredients. This primer is no different. It works much better under a tinted moisturizer or CC/BB cream. The results when using under a more substantial, full coverage foundation were not good. I had to remove it & start from scratch with a silicon based primer. Again, ingredients of each are important. I knew better and it's no fault of the primer...100% user error. I have worn this alone, with no makeup and it helps to even & smooth small imperfections. It has pretty good lasting power too. Be prepared for a touch up if you are a "wear all day & into the night" make up person. Conclusion: For an everyday, go-to primer, this one CG is an excellent & very affordable choice.

I'm not a make up expert, I barely wear any and don't wear it at all if my face is cleared up enough. But I do have very red-prone skin and old blemish spots hang around forever. Sorry, but this does absolutely nothing for the redness, doesn't tone it down AT ALL. I think maybe it works well as a primer, but again, I'm not a make up expert so I don't really know how it compares to anything else.

i really love thin and cant seem to find it anywhere lately but im glad amazon has it.i put it on before put my base on and it really makes a difference .its a primer to wear before you add our make up it makes everything smootherand the price is great

In the past , i've always used clinique brand primer... I tried this one just to say, I tried it and it is hands down better than the clinique. Easy to apply much more price friendly and lightly coats your face... great product

I have horrible boil like spots [due to my firm of rheumatoid arthritis]all on my chin area an leaves red areas. Never used anything like this bfre since i barely wear makeup so I thought why not....works incredible and even hubby of 30yrs noticed it. Definitely worth the money 💯
