Great for a do it yourself genuine Subaru oil change. Comes as a pakage with everything you'll need including x6 Qts oil, legit oil filter and crash washer reaplacement for drain plug. A bit pricey but I guess you pay that bit for convenience. Used on a 2017 Outback 2.5L

I have a 2016 Subaru Forester Limited. Some folks think there is magic in some motor oils. Subaru's full synthetic oils have additive packages that work best with their engines so its what I choose to stay with. The oil is a bit pricey by the quart, the best way to go is with the oil change kit. The kit has everything you need, and is a far more economical way to go. It's a great value, prolongs engine life if you stick to the correct maintinance schedule, and keep in mind that it is your engine's life blood ! I have done some engine mods, but even with higher performance, my engine runs normal temps, stays quiet and smooth. I only go under 5,000mi. a year so doing one oil change a year may be considered overkill by some. I do the oil change and filter change at the same time interval with my annual inspection. I am very pleased when I see my used oil come out clean. This kit was sold at a very reasonable price point, in a timely manner, and as described. I highly recommend this product, and this seller.

I've purchased this a few times now to do the oil change on my 2022 Subaru Forester. It comes with enough oil and the correct filter to get the job done. I generally end up with an extra quart at the end, but I just stockpile them each time; eventually i'll have enough for a spare oil change.

Liked that kit was complete Ouality, cost was not a buying point.
