My 22 month old daughter LOVES the Plum Fruit pouches. I always taste new food that I give to her, and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the flavors are. Most canned/jarred food tastes to me as if it is decomposing right there in the jar! But I found these fruit flavor to be very fresh and delicious. I am concerned about what she eats, I pack her lunch for daycare everyday, she doesn't eat any overly processed foods, she eats lots of fresh fruits and veggies, she's never had high fructose corn syrup and I feel confident including Plum Organics Pouches as a snack a few times each week. The ONLY ingredients are the fruit and occasionally some lemon juice is added. Make note!! You get TWO boxes of SIX (12 total pouches) Concerned about China? It's a shame that people post alarming reviewed without understanding the facts. The pouches are made in China, as are probably 90% of all packaging of of foods you and your family consume. HOWEVER, some important points: (1) The contents (the fruit puree) are made in NORTH AMERICA, from mostly North American produce, but some tropical fruits come from South America (2) The packaging is created in China and is made from 3 layers of material, including aluminum foil and the inner layer is PET (polyethylene) which has been determined safe and is BPA free. The CREATORS of the pouch are a partnership of a Japanese, an Italian and a US company. The just outsource the manufacturing to China. The machine that fuses the pouch together is made in Italy, so it's not like the "evil" Chinese could just switch out the pouch liner for a different chemical based plastic - it wouldn't work in the machinery. (3) The pouches are sterilized during the filling process and the Ph level is maintained below the amount at which microbes can multiply. It is true that China doesn't always have the best food practices, but this food is NOT manufactured in China, just the pouches using non-Chinese technology and machinery.

I have been getting these specific banana and pumpkin Plum Organics for years now. I recently found out that my racing heart and breathing problems were mainly elevated drastically from having low potassium amounts…I never knew that was even a thing at my young age! Mind blowing. These pouches have 45% of your daily dose of potassium!! Even more mind blowing! These and avocados have been my favorite snacks recently or for breakfast and I can promise you that if the ingredients were off, altered, substituted, or fake, they would not have improved my condition. I went to the emergency room and urgent care 3 times in 2 weeks because I couldn’t breathe properly, stand upright and my heart was falling out of my chest and I was exhausted to the point I couldn’t stand. I am now back to my normal upright self doing daily activities and working regularly. I found out about 2 weeks ago that my problems were from potassium shortage. If these pouches did not contain the basic ingredients that they advertise and state, my body would still be a wreck. I have a very sensitive stomach and can’t handle a lot of foods, so my list is limited. These taste great, the reviews make me sad. I have never received any out or near dated, not sure why people freak out over that because most canned or pressed items last months to years past listed “shelf life”. There is NO overwhelming citric taste at all. Literally tastes like banana and pumpkins. I love this company, they deserve well over 5 stars! I am happy these came in handy when I needed them most!

I purchased this for my dog. I put it in her activity mat and freeze it. Gives her something to do and snack on, without gaining alot of weight.

I have nothing bad to say about this product. They’re a great price point for the amount and options you get. My 9 month old loves them and I feel good giving them to her. It’s a great way to get nutrients in on the go or when she decides she doesn’t want to eat what we’re eating.
