28 Modern Jazz Trumpet Solos, Bk 1 Paperback – September 1, 1983

This was the first book I ever purchased when learning to play jazz trumpet. I was actually studying with Ken Sloane at an Aebersold Jazz camp when I bought the book. I purchased this copy on Amazon for my son, who is now learning jazz trumpet. It is a wonderful collection of some of the best jazz trumpet solos ever recorded.

Great music book. We were able to learn a lot of new Jazz songs.

Love this book. Good solid, you can find almost all of them fairly easily online.

Great for my freshman child, to progress to first chair in band.

Exactly as advertised...very pleased.

What I received digitally was book 1, which I own a hard copy of already. (Volume 1 is good) Had this actually been volume 2 as advertised, it would've been a heckuva deal. Oh well, I guess I'll just order the hard copy version.
