Be careful which version you choose
There are four variants; Full cover 2017, Half cover 2017, Full cover 2017+2019, Half cover 2017+2019. If you have the 2019 v10 Oasis, then you must get the 2019 version or it won't auto wake. Physically the 2017 and 2019 covers fit the same so the only difference is the auto wake. Note that as you scroll through the different colours on the Amazon website, it can change the variant unexpectedly, so be careful and double check you still have the right one before purchasing. The case fits extremely well and offers good protection, but I find the case somewhat heavy compared to a naked Oasis, and the edge of the cover is quite pointed so can feel harsh when holding it at certain angles. But overall, for the price I think this is a good cover. Before I realised I purchased the wrong variant, I contacted the supplier's customer support (not Amazon) and got a very fast response by email explaining the problem.Update: I've changed the rating to 5 stars as I've just received a type B 'skin touch' version and it feels very soft and luxurious. The fabric version was quite hard with sharper edges but the skin touch version is perfect.

Exactly as described
The outside of the case is made from coarse fabric, which makes it very easy to grip the kindle when you're reading it. I personally think the grey colour looks fantastic. Took a bit of force to get the kindle to go into the case, but that's not a bad thing, as once it's in, the kindle doesn't shift about and is solidly in place. The inside of the lid is made of a soft touch fabric, which sort of feels velvety. Opening the case wakes the kindle from sleep and closing the case causes the kindle to sleep. Exactly as advertised. The only complaints I have aren't really the cases fault. The case, whilst being fairly thin, pretty much doubles the kindle's weight. Which sucks, as I loved how light the kindle oasis is without the case. But it's still pretty light, even with the case. The second complaint I have is that the groove at the back is perfect for holding one handed, but once you open the case and move the lid around to the back you lose the groove. Again, sucks, but not limited to this case, and I don't think there's anything they could do about it, so can't really complain.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again.

Perfect well-made case, I love it!
I love this case. It is a perfect tight fit, it closes perfectly against the back and it turns the Oasis on and off when you open and close it. It looks just like denim fabric and while I didn’t really want the blue (only one available) it’s nicer than I expected and I really like it, it’s a bright variegated colour. The Oasis is completely enclosed in the case and the hard rubber edges give total protection. The quality is high, it’s very well made, the edges meet perfectly and even the weave of the fabric is aligned perfectly with the straight edges. You need to get your fingernail under the front cover to open it but the magnet grip isn’t too strong and there is an edge that’s easy to get under. I am totally happy with this - I researched all the cases before I chose it and have no negatives to say about it.

Elegant
I got the adsorption cover in grey to go with my gold Oasis. I was torn between the grey and the white/light grey but after fitting the grey one to my kindle (a very easy and reasonably secure fit), I'm blown away by the look of the unit now. It now has an understated elegance to it. I'll give it some time to see how the adhesive holds up although there's a magnet also that helps the cover stay in place. If durable, I'm thinking of trying out the white one some time down the road. You can't go wrong with this case considering the relatively low price. I think it's priced reasonably. This is a review of the adsorption cover which leaves the protruded back surface of your oasis exposed. If you treat your gadgets roughly, you might be better off with the full cover.

Nice looking case that fits well
This is a nice looking case that fits the Kindle Oasis well. I got the dark grey fabric cover. The front is stiff and should protect the screen well, the inside surface is covered with a soft fuzzy material. The rear is made from firm but flexible plastic, it is firm enough to protect the Kindle but slightly flexible so that it doesn't break if it is bent. The outer cover is made from a woven material that improves the grip on the Oasis making it less slippery. Opening and closing the cover turns the Oasis on and off. The inside of the front cover has an indentation to allow space for the two page turn buttons. Magnets keep the front cover closed, and since the front cover doesn't overlap the rear of the case you need to use your fingernails to open the cover, this is the only minor issue I have with it.

The closest thing to the original magnetic covers
I purchased the Kindle Oasis a while back - sadly at the time Amazon had stopped selling their official covers and the options were this or clip-on cases from casebot. I thankfully came across this as an alternative and have been very pleased. Although this does not give full protection like the casebot cases - the edges of the device are not covered and neither is half the back of the device - it fits really well and does not add much bulk to the device. The magnet is fairly strong and holds on to the device well - I would assume if the device fell it would not come off. this lacks the stand aspect of the Amazon covers - but I don't think it would have been something I used.A definite buy if you like me were looking for the magnetic Amazon covers and a cover that adds minimal bulk to the Kindle.
