Had been debating this game for some time and with the current situation (and a great price) decided to order it. Presentation is very good and they certainly pack a lot into the box. Quality of the parts is excellent and it took no time at all for the two of us to get going after some initial setup. The games themselves are well thought out and playing as two has the benefit of doing more of the challenges vs bigger teams although it would be a great Christmas family game to play too. As people have already said there is a danger that the games will get completed affecting replaying it. Several tasks have multiple variations, some you easily tweak yourself to keep them going and then some you’d forget if not playing for a while. It would be good to see further add on packs. All in all a fun game to play, took two of us around 1-1.5 hours and would certainly recommend it.

Amazing game if you're a fan. This is the best board game ever. Takes ages to set up and you need about a hundred clip-seal-bags for all the separate cards and pieces, but well worth it. I can see that if you're not a fan of the show it would be frustrating as it takes time to learn how to play it, but I believe the time is worth the investment. And you never get the same challenge twice the way they have done it. If you use the app together with some imagination, it's really good fun with young ones. Though I would have liked it if there was some crystal maze background music permanently playing in the app.

Very good fun, made better by the innovative way in which the actual collection of the gold and silver has been incorporated. Only complaint is that the suckers on the hands used to collect said good and silver are poor quality, i.e. not durable. Otherwise the inclusion of app and classic music is a great touch. Endless fun!

It’s the best interactive board game I have played in a long time. Purchased as a Christmas gift we sat down to play. The app for this is really good and if you enjoyed the tv program then this is for you. We played as a 4 but ideal for an uneven number as one person can be the maze master throughout. The dome works well and good fun had by all. Looking forward to our next adventure.

Great for all ages. The dome round is simple but genius. There are multiple versions of each mini game, some are even infinite, so you can play it enough times to get money’s worth. You play in two teams - one team sets up the game and a member from the other plays. Then swap roles for the next game. We slightly adjusted the rules so that everybody in the playing team participated at once. We played elderly v youngsters and the grandparents were way in the lead - but had a dome disaster and lost. Growing up, we always watched Crystal Maze and often did the CM cyber experiences with our parents. So 20+ years on, this game was great as even the now elderly/post cancer/arthritic parents could join in and it’s really like the show.

Bought as a present. They loved it and bought back many memories of the programme.
