Notebook Hardcover Pocket A6-187 Numbered Pages for Writing and Journaling (Black, Plain)

high-quality exceptionally well thought-out design & materials. Bought this to write on w/ my newly acquired fountain pens because low quality generic lined paper doesn't have the right feel & longevity. This journal comes with elastic stay-close band, adhesive labels, built in cloth bookmark, numbered pages, empty table of contents waiting to be filled-in so you can find specific notes you have written, perforated pages in the back to give someone a quick note, etc...Will buy another after this one is filled up.

This notebook is very similar in most respects to the popular Moleskine pocket sized notebooks. It is about 0.8mm (1/32") thicker and 7.5mm (19/64") longer. Width is the same, within the variation of the material.Each sheet is slightly thicker and slightly more opaque. The sheets are, to eye, perfectly aligned within the covers, which is not true of either of the last two Moleskines I have purchased. Despite the German name, the product is printed and bound in Taiwan. [Moleskines are printed and bound in China, but "assembled in Italy", whatever that means. I am left wondering what assembly a notebook requires after being printed and bound.] There is a name and address page, and three pages formatted as a Table of Contents. The next forward-facing page thereafter is numbered "1" and the numbering through "185", which is the last forward-facing page of normal thickness. The flyleaves (first and last pages) are thicker, as with the Moleskine. Markings are in German, English, and French. Translations are not duplicated when redundant, e.g. one column in the TOC is headed "Seiten/Pages", as "Pages" is the same in English and French. The paper is nicer than the Moleskine's, in my opinion. It takes pencil, gel pen, and pigment marker (Sakura) very well. I have not yet tried it with fountain pen. It is an off-white, just barely lighter in shade than the Moleskine. All in all, it's a nice little notebook, and I expect good service from it. It is not, however, perfect. I would like something with more opaque paper and sturdier binding. I will try the Rhodia Webnotebook next. I have already tried the Ecosystem product, but it is too thick, and I don't like the bright white bleached paper.

I really liked this notebook, except in the summer time when the only comfortable way to carry it was in a bag or in a cargo pocket if I was wearing cargo pants. I like having a journal on hand to jot down the odd idea or scrap of info during the day. The binding is great and the numbered pages/table of contents is great if you are that organized. Paper is of good quality. A well made notebook over all, just slightly too long for a back pocket

This book happens to not only be elegant, but contains a better quality paper than the beloved Moleskine. another great bonus is the numbered pages and table of contents, and the paper is more of an ivory than the off white found in Moleskines. Moleskines are great, but this will always be my go to book.

Paper has show through with fountain pens, but not any bleed through (I only use Japanese fine and medium nibs with this since it is a small notebook in the first place). Pencil works well too. I bought the Leuchtturm pen loop as well. Works well, but you need a narrow pen/pencil to fit in it.

Excellent paper quality. Just the thing to use my new lamy safari on for quick notes on my book. Will buy more, although probably larger sizes.

This replaced an old simliar-sized Moleskine. I wanted pages that could hold up to fountain pen ink and, by that measure, this notebook is a complete success. The 1917 offers perks beyond my old notebook including: stickers to label the notebook, page numbers, and a table of contents. I'm happily recommend it.

Is mine a fake? It doesn't have numbered pages OR a blank table of contents OR ANY perforated/detachable sheets?! And the paper feels thin, like ink WILL go right through it. This listing is WRONG, or at least something was majorly wrong with the book I received...and so is the labeling that was on the notebook.** (See photos.) Bummed...

Ha ragione chi in Leuchtturm pensa che i dettagli facciano la differenza, perché è così! Trovandomi fra le mani questo articolo ho capito come anche per prodotti molto commercializzati e di facile produzione è possibile avere qualcosa in più. Il taccuino è di ottima fattura, la copertina come le pagine sono perfette, anche il design minimale è degno di nota e comporta un interiore miglioramento, ma la cosa che rende veramente superiore questo oggetto rispetto ai suoi concorrenti di marche anche più blasonate sono le piccole cose, le accortezze come la tasca in ultima pagina, gli adesivi per archiviarlo correttamente quando lo si avrà terminato, le pagine numerate ed altre sottigliezze che, sommate all'eccelsa qualità lo consacrano come il taccuino definitivo (e che sicuramente ricomprerò). 5 stelle assolutamente! TI SONO STATO UTILE? DIMMELO QUI SOTTO :)

モレスキンの悪いところを全て改良し、完璧にした物だと思ってくれれば良いです。 そこに更に、７個追加機能があります。 １．表紙の色が20種類 ２．紙質は似たような製品の中では最高。（裏抜けせず、かといって反対側に写ることもない。） ３．全ての紙に頁数が振ってある。 ４．１頁目の前に２枚、目次作成用の頁がある。 ５．最後の８枚だけ切り取り可能。 ６．栞紐は長めの色違いで２本。 ７．表紙に貼るためのシールが２枚付属。 以上です。

今までモレスキンのA6を使っていたが新規開拓ということで 初めて購入。 紙質はモレスキンもこちらも甲乙つけがたいがペンで書く場合は こちらのほうが書き易い、モレスキンは鉛筆用かな。 背面のポケットによくもらった名刺を仮でしまう事があるが モレスキンより耐久度が高い気がする。
