This is simply the best lid for travelling in a car and trying to pour hit liquid! As we travel to and from the continent, the passenger has to pour tea/coffee during the journey. A typical thermos lid pours the hot brew out in a wide tongue, so to speak. This little lid has a small round pouring spout, it helps enormously to hit the inside of the cup. Particularly when the driver hits an unseen bump in the road. I don't know how compatible it would be on other thermoset, I only use this brand now for taking travelling with us where pouring accuracy is a high priority!
