My husband, 8 year old son and I love this devotional. Such great and interesting sports stories that are always tied to biblical scripture and concepts. Very well done and we love it. So grateful for the writers that took the love of sports many boys have, my son for sure, and found an interesting way for them to learn God's word through sports.

I have searched far and wide for a devotional book that my son would find both mentally and spiritually enriching. I looked all over for such a book, and this one by Jesse Florea finally put that search to an end. Considering all of the life lessons learned in sports, it should have occurred to me that a sports devotional would have been the perfect fit! Using biblical passages and sports scenarios to help relate what the Word of God shares, this devotional book has brought my son to an epiphany about Christ and His Word! If you are looking for a great Christian gift for any occasion for a young man or woman who loves sports of any kind, this is the gift you have been looking for! I would recommend this to anyone that would ask my input!

I bought this for my 10 year old son and we read a page a night. There is a heavy focus on Olympics stories, my son commented, as he was hoping for more football or basketball stories, but that’s ok. It was a great purchase and we are both really enjoying reading it together.

I bought this as a little bonding activity for me and my son to do together before bedtime and its been nice but I will say, he's 8 years old and I feel like its a bit over his head. Some of the language and content just seems a little over his head and he has to ask me what different words mean at times. It hasn't ruined it for us and we're still really enjoying it but I do think it would be more meaningful for a kid just a little older. I like the structure and content - it ties sports stories back to bible stories and then has a message and scripture for each day. Most of the days have a section where you have to answer a question and that's where my son and I really get to talk about things and see the most value. Overall we've enjoyed it!

Bought this for my sons birthday but our whole family has really enjoyed it. We love watching sports together and so this was a natural choice for us. It's full of great sports facts and stories and does a wonderful job of relating them to biblical principles and verses. I am so glad we bought this. Highly recommend it!!

I purchased this book for my boys who play baseball, basketball, and football. I thought it would be a great way to continue to bring God into every aspects of their life. My husband coached my son's basketball team, and decided to share it with the players. They absolutely loved it. As a nice way to give a gift to the players. We decided to buy each young man a copy so that they could continue to read after the season. I would highly recommend this book !!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has such great stories. They are interesting and relevant. Really applies the Bible story to make it relatable. Great book!

My 9 year old son enjoys this devotional on his each night before bed. After attending a Christian sports day camp, a desire to read daily devotions was sparked in him. He requested a sports themed book. We couldn't be happier with this one. It has kept his interest! Good stories with a connection to the Word and relevenace to his life. He often shares the stories with me. Definitely a good devotional for your young athlete!
