It works but its not the best quality product

Ladder is ok, but
My first ladder was missing a step bracket & had no hardware to put it together. My second ladder (after exchange) was still missing screws & lock nuts to put the pieces of the ladder together. I didn't expect any instillation hardware,but you would think it would come with the parts to put the ladder itself together.

Rated for 250# but not really
Product looks great and mounted easily but the verticle tubes bent just below the hinge. The tubes are very thin wall. I will probably replace the tubes myself with thicker wall aluminum since I sent an email to JIF Marine and have not received a reply. jk

Same thing happened to mine as the other reviewers. Hinge bolt has started to pull through the thin lower tube. Cheap junk, stay away!
