Great brush for the money spent! We use these brushes on wood working products that we want to take extra care not to blemish. The softness of the brush really helps get into all the hard to get places while still having the firmness to keep the brush in tight lines. It's been easy to clean and durable throughout each wash!

This is a good brush. I usually use Purdy Clearcut or similar , but thought I'd try this Wooster Q3208-1 1/2 brush because the price was good. It does not hold as much paint as a Purdy, but since the paint load is lower, one can get more precise lines and edges. Actually, it yields very precise edges. I was surprised. So far, there have been no bristles left behind on the painted areas. The bristles don't swell or flare with water based paints. I like it. Some Tips: When any brush is new, firmly grab the bristles with a hand & pull to remove any left over loose strands. Always paint from dry to wet. Get the brush damp before use with latex. Not wet, just damp. Try to only get the tips in the paint. Don't wipe excess paint on the edge of the container. It is better to tap the wall. When washing, don't invert the brush under the water. This sends paint deep into the ferrule. Hold it handle up and gently squeeze-and-stroke while under running water. I use clothes detergent, then rinse. That's optional. After it is dry, massage it a bit to loosen the bristles. Some painters work in mineral spirits for storage. Again- optional Store it in the sleeve.
