I got this for my husband as well are getting away from using plastic jugs. It does get heavy when filled but it is sturdy. Washes very well in my dishwasher. Not sure I didn't get one of these sooner. Will be getting more!

I've owned several pitchers and milk bottles in the past, and one of the problems I've always had was cleaning the inside. The reason why I bought this was because you can see in one of the pictures that someone has their hands inside the pitcher, cleaning it out. I can just barely fit my hand in dry (easier when wet, which it will be when cleaning), which is perfect. Not only that, but it came with a two-piece, sturdy cleaning sponge brush, just in case you have larger hands. The opening IS wide enough for average hands or smaller. The price is just right for regular glass, but this is made of borosilicate glass, which is stronger and more shock-resistant than regular glass. Although the pitcher is thinner and lighter than your typical glass pitcher, it's paradoxically stronger. Also, because this type of glass has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, you can heat it and cool it like Pyrex, and it has a greater chance of surviving. Anyway, I love this pitcher, which is perfect for lemonade or whatever. I'm going to be using it for storing plant-based milk I make from powder. This is just the right size (68 oz) for a few days worth of plant milk for my family. Last but not least, the top is smart, stainless-steel, well-designed with a large opening for pouring on one side, and holes for air intake (while pouring) on the other, for smooth pouring. Overall, you will not be dissatisfied with the build quality of the pitcher and top, and the sponge brush is a nice addition. Being able to (just barely) fit my hand into the mouth of the pitcher is a huge win! To summarize: thinner, lighter, stronger, can fit the average sized hand in for cleaning, top is well-designed, sponge brush is an added bonus. At this price, you could buy two, and still be doing well! I only needed one, so that was $20 well spent.

I have been using this pitcher for over a year. It gets used daily to hold filtered water in the fridge. The lid still stays on perfectly and the pitcher has held up even better than I expected. It has even held up to being handled roughly by two teenagers! This was definitely worth the money!

I liked this glass pitcher so much that I purchased 3. What I like about this product is its height. It was low enough for any shelf level in my refrigerator to maximize space. Also, it can hold both cold and hot liquids. Watch out for other pitchers in this price range cause they usually can only accommodate cold liquids. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that the lid is not airtight. The product description wasn’t misleading, it’s just that it would be absolutely perfect with a sealed lid. Great price for this and looks well made.

This has been a great pitcher for making iced tea. It's great that it is tempered glass - I can pour boiling water right into it to steep the tea before adding ice & water to cool it down and put it in the fridge. It feels pretty sturdy and solid. The cap is exactly the same as every other brand of pitcher - no complaints with that! It's just short enough to fit under my fridge shelf. The footprint isn't crazy big, either, so its relatively efficient with space. The only improvement I think could be made would be if the handle loop didn't stick out so much - it does make it take up more space in the fridge unnecessarily.
