The Very Best of Cher - The Video Hits Collection [DVD] [2004]

I recently purchased a multi region DVD player so I could watch mainly US dvd, however I was pleasantly surprised when this DVD arrived when it was advertised as being region 1 it is actually regions 2 - 6 PAL format so I can watch it on my original equipment. 15 original videos by Cher as a companion to her 2cd greatest hits collection. Very satisfied with my purchase.

The description on Amazon states Region 1 NTSC. But the one I received is regions 2-6 PAL. Fantastic collection even if there are a few songs missing.

Simply one of the best female singer etc of all times

However, this copy purchased from Amazon, is not compatable with the UK market and therefore will not play. This was purchased for my granddaughter, who had "borrowed" my original copy.

But sadly there isn't enough tracks on there! I expected to see videos for all the tracks from my "Very Best Of Cher" C.D. on here, oh how wrong was I? Well not too bad actually, I like the additional "Main Man" but where are "Gypsies Tramps and Thieves" and "Dark Lady"???? Shape-Up Warner... PS As another reviewer pointed out, three listings for tracks are wrong. "Song For the Lonely" is the original, not the remix, "One By One" is like the american version and "Dov'e L'amore" is the "Emilio Estevan Jr. Extended" remix (which is actually alot better than the original) Essensial for Cher fans though!
